*HOT* $5 Off ANY In-Store Purchase at Babies R Us or Toys R Us (Text, Foursquare, & Shopkick!)
Wow! I posted about the awesome $5 off Toys R Us/Babies R Us in-store coupon earlier today, but I just received the following email from reader Ashley. Check it out:
“Thanks for alerting us to the online coupon but I wanted to let you know that I discovered even more ways to score this coupon. I opened up my ShopKick app and sure enough it’s there under Toys R Us. Also, I checked into Toys R Us while I was shopping there to use the coupon and it unlocked another $5 coupon in Foursquare! PLUS unlocked the special, text 5ONUS to 78697.
I did all 4 ways (online, ShopKick, Foursquare and text) and received all the coupons. They also all have different barcode numbers. I asked my cashier if I could go back again since I had received the coupon multiple ways and they had different numbers and she said sure, as long as it scans that’s fine! Woohoo! So, you could potentially do multiple transactions and save or shop several times this week for the deal! I did two transactions and saved 96%. Two baby boy tops and a pair of jeans for $1.71 total for an upcoming baby shower!”
Also, reader Nicole let me know she picked up the Kinectimals Video Game with FAO Schwarz Bear for Xbox 360 Kinect game for only $9.99 + tax (regularly $59.99!) after using her $5 off coupon! This game is priced at $58.25 on Amazon so this seems like one *HOT* price!

I did the text but I don’t have an I PHone, tried opening the ink on my computer and it gives me the same coupon number as before. Oh well, thanks for the tip.

I got two emails one from toys r us one from babies r us. Both have the same barcode as the web coupon.

I got a different bar code # from the text vs printed coupon. I also got the shopkick one (one time use only) but can’t get the Foursquare to work (checked-in).

I got clothing for my nephew for around $3. The trip was great except for the person in front of me trying to use multiple copies of the same coupon with the same barcode. Way to go! lol
I got 2 Zak Chill Paks for Free plus tax. The lunch packs scanned BOGO free so I got 2. Not as exciting as some of the deals others have gotten but I am happy.
Another good idea for free stuff is school supplies, socks, pacifiers, sippy cups, bottles, baby wash, washcloths, silverware, recieving blankets (not sure price on those), bottle brushes, burp rags, little toys, like rattles, etc., toothbrushes, toothpaste, just to name some. I would think all these items would be around $5.

yes it works. i got free pacifier with $1 avent manf coupon and $5 off = free. free ez wipe bib free (4.99) after coupon. also babyganic dish and bottle foaming cleanser refll bottle $1.99 ($7.99) after $1 off manf coupon and $5 off.

Be careful combining mfg Qs with the store coupon. I got a game for $5.99, plus two Snikiddy for 2/$4. I had two $2/1 Snikiddy Qs, and I think the cashier scanned the store coupon first, because she wouldn’t take the second Snikiddy Q, because the store Q reduced them to $1 apiece. To my thinking, it should have been .99 plus tax, but it ended up being $2.99.
there was also $28.99 dreft 150z 20% off – $5 off = $18 – $2 manf coupon available on dreft website (mail) = $16.
so as long as the bar code are different I can use both coupons right?
the coupon states one per guest, so maybe you can get away with two transactions if you bring a buddy but most likely you can not use two of these in one transaction.
I texted the 5ONUS and I get a text back with “Entry not valid. Try Again.” Anyone else getting this?? Thanks

I found a Thomas set (Thomas and James hard at work) in top stock, on clearance for $12.98 (normally $35) – $5 = my total was $8.66. Score! Also went to BRU and scored some free clothes!!!

You can also use it with other BabiesRUs coupons. I combined it with a $10 off $35 in clothing and with all their current clearance made for some good deals. The girl said it can be combined with the 20% off also that BabiesRUs always mails out or hands you at the register if you have one. 😉

I received it in the mail, one of their mailers that had several coupons in it.

The barcode prints the same per each computer. I printed another coupon from a different computer and got a different barcode. Hope this helps!
no always i printed two off the same computer and they both had different bar codes
Just wanted to let everyone know that i went to toys r us today and used 3 $5 off coupons, had to do separate transactions but they let me use all three coupons, and with the deal going on I got over $50 dollars worth of toys for $25 total in all transactions.
I combined the $5 coupon with Babies r us coupons that were mailed to me (Baby Magic Buy 1 get 1). I was able to get a lotion and baby shampoo/wash (30oz.) for $2.17 OOP. Yay! Reg. price for one bottle is $6.99.
I was able to score a backpack with the free lunch kit, 6 crayons, a ninjago notepad, a four pack of lego pencils, 4 plastic bowls that have straws and 2 sets of shoes for my 20 month old all for $18.65. I was even shocked when they let me use all four of my coupons at once. It was so nice that I didn’t have to separate them. Thanks for the heads up on the coupon!!
Anyone else having a problem getting the text coupon?
I troed to use my coupon on a buy 2 get one sale and after it rang up I noticed that the b2g1 didn’t come off. I went to customer service to have them adjust it and they said that the offers can not be combined. I asked to see where it said that on the coupon and she said it says that on the sale tag. I asked for my coupon back and she said she could not give it back because it was already scanned. I returned all of my $15 purchase and left very angry. I am not sure how everyone was able to use it on sale items.

I can’t get the txt coupon either. I txt it, but get nothing back at all. I can’t even find their banner on the homepage…what’s going on with this?? I even clicked on the link above and it says I ‘ve printed the max # of times and I haven’t printed anything at all…frustrating
They had Xia-Xia sets marked down from $19.99 to $4.99. Also a buy one get 2 free sale. They rang it up and it came to $5.39 after tax and FREE after the coupon. I was surprised that I didn’t have to be over $5 or pay tax. They also had the Xia-Xia crabs on sale for $4.99 so I used 2 coupons in 2 sep transactions and ended up with 1 crab and 3 playsets for FREE! That is $68 worth of toys for free! Love it!

I’m having that issue too! I did the text offer and clicked on the page on my smartphone and it said max printed! I haven’t used it yet and certainly have not printed it since its on my iPhone ;( darn. That’s what I get for waiting
