Got the sling pictured for a girl at my job who we will be having a baby shower for in the next few months. Promo code took off $40 – what a great deal!

These run small – it’s best to up a few sizes. I am a size 3 but ordered a 5 and it fit perfectly.

I’ve ordered these before (they run promos constantly for “free” nursing covers and slings). In my opinion, they are worth the cost of shipping, but not much more. The nursing covers are great, though. I agree the slings are a tad small, I suggest buying one size larger. I bought one and it’s great to keep rolled up in the bottom of my diaper bag for un-seen occasions when I may need it. Another one of their sites is http://www.carseatcanopy.com. The code will probably work there also, but no guarantees.

thank you! I wanted a carseat canopy before I even knew they existed (if that makes any sense lol)

FYI, several years ago I saw this ‘promotion’ and purchased the udder cover wanting to take advantage of the deal. I wanted to mention that later I realized that it seems like this is their way of selling the product, every time I see it they advertise it as free. I have never seen these products to not be ‘free’. I think it is a marketing thing to get people to buy it (like I did) to not miss the deal. I liked my cover (I have never tried the sling), it wasn’t the best one I have had, but it was cheaper than other ones I have seen.

I’m currently pregnant and I’ve heard from a dozen moms to avoid these carriers. They all told me it’s not even worth the shipping cost. They are always “free” and it seems like a good deal, but it isn’t.

These are awful. They are stiff and quite frankly I don’t feel safe putting a baby in them. Also, they are ALWAYS “free”.

I think this is a marketing ploy too. Every month I see something where they offer covers or slings for “free.” I got the nursing cover. It’s really cheap and not very attractive πŸ™

I have ordered a free udder cover with every one of my children…I have three….and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!! I keep one in the car, one in the diaper bag, and one at home.

I got one of the covers several years ago. At that time the shipping was $8.95 & I think it was completely worth it. The material is thin. I liked that b/c I’ve had two summer babies & wouldn’t have wanted something heavy & hot. It also folds up very compactly to stick in your purse/diaper bag. Mine is black material & it’s gone through the washing machine several times without fading, ripping, etc.

I do think the marketing ploy of free + shipping is kind of goofy…why not just say it costs $11.95 with free shipping? I guess it’s working for them though! πŸ™‚

If you know how to sew, you can make baby sling by yourself. I watched baby sling tutorial on YouTube and made a couple of baby slings by myself. It was really easy to make.

I like your comment I just asked my friend how hard she thought it would be for me to make a cover and a sling since I have no sewing knowledge at all. and I am on baby four right now the last of the family to be born and want to do everything I can to breast feed as long as I can. any ways you say it’s easy so I think I will try.

That site is a rip off.

Just purchased my sling. When I entered the code, I was alerted that I could get the gift set for only the cost of shipping ($11.90) + $5. The set includes the sling, and matching leg warmers and cuff bracelet. Altogether I paid $16.90. I’m excited! I’ve never used one of these slings before, so I’ll have to see what I think when it arrives. πŸ™‚

I have four children, and have had several carriers and slings. By far, this has been the Best one for the value! I ordered one 6 months ago and use it constantly. They are great to keep in the diaper bag and tote baby along when I forget my shopping cart cover. My daughter is now 15 months and she still loves holding on to me as we do our couponing. It keeps her close to me, and I think she likes that secure feeling. I call her my baby joey kangaroo πŸ™‚
