(Thanks, Midwest Coupon Clippers!)
Wow how wonderful! Last year my students only got to go on one field trip because my school’s students are so poor. (The previous year we didnt go on one at all!) Many could not even pay for one field trip and that left my principal scrambling to try to find money to pay for those who could not pay. Winning money for a field trip would be a dream…
Open house last night was an eye-opener, to say the least. I sat in my little corner grinding my teeth at parents complaining for having to buy dollar store headphones. I think I was the only one to ask about field trips and they looked at me in horror probably thinking they would have to not buy one of their habitual items for a day just to afford the $5 bucks for their kid to go on a field trip. 🙁
By they way, I hope you win. Good luck! The children deserve it.
Thanks Makayla! All of the grants have pretty much disappeared and the gas prices have made affording the school district bus for transportation pretty much completely impossible. Since 96% of my school’s students walk to school and for safety reasons parents driving kids is not allowed, it sets up a bad scenario. It was $12 a student to go to the zoo last year. Most of them had no idea what the zoo was. 🙁
Yay! Coupon will make for cheap bread and if I am right and they carry this, then almost free when doubled at Kmart. 😀
I don’t have a teacher? can anybody help??? pls
Think of a school in your neighborhood, google their website and find the info on their teachers. It’s usually available. 😀
Peepl allways talck aboot teechers not macking enuf money and all that stuf, but we shood reely take time to thank all the profeshionel athleets who entertayne us. I cant think of no teecher that tot me good in ne subject.
This post is for “entertaynment” purposes only. It was just about the most difficult thing I ever had to write. I have a wicked sense of humor I guess. It is wonderful that this company is doing this for teachers, schools, and their students. It would be great if more took this kind of initiative.
Hahahaha!!! I was getting a little bothered by that post until I read your other comment. Love it!
Hahaha-you’re not too far off, Koko
Teachers unions 🙁
We homeschooled our children-so glad we made the sacrifices years ago.
As someone suggested above, find a school in your area and nominate them. Everyone needs an education, I am sure you will find it an eye opener to their needs and not blame groups you know nothing about.
Is this a coupon that will get mailed to us?
The coupon prints on your printer you can print up to two. 🙂
thanks! I nominated my kids’ kindergarten teacher, she’s amazing!
