    • mary

can use coupon if its Tyson ground chicken

    • Kristen

that’s the name..according the the picture of the coupon “save $1.00 off any Tyson IF ground chicken” hope that helps.. Took me a minute too, I’ve never heard of this 🙂

      • mary

I saw these at walmart, IF is not part of the name. Package says “Tyson All natural Ground Chicken” HTH 🙂

    • Jennifer

I think IF stands for “Individually Frozen”. There are several “IF” products on the Tyson website and they all say Individually Frozen. I’m not exactly sure what that means though.

  3. Jean

I don’t know why, but meat in those tubes really grosses me out!! Sorry if I made others grossed out as well! Also wondering what IF means??

  4. Isabell

I bought it a couple times already, trying to get away from beef and its just yummi

  5. Shirnell

I’m guessing individually frozen. I got a tube today and it was frozen solid.

    • Kristen

That makes sense!!! Thanks … trying to figure that out was really bugging me 😉

Sorry to sound like an idiot (I’m not a cook), but what do you do with this? How do you cook it? Do you eat it by itself or mixed in something, or what? Recipe ideas?

    • Mo

use it like ground beef I suppose. It will probably be quite dry once cooked if it doesn’t have some dark meat in it (and even then, still pretty dry) so you’ll want to use some kind of recipe that calls for sauce, like sloppy joe. HTH!

    • Mom

Laura, although I’ve never bought this particular kind of ground chicken, I do make lettuce wraps fairly often. Google “chicken lettuce wraps” for some yummy recipes using ground chicken. You don’t have to eat them with lettuce leaves, either! Flour tortillas work well, too, and are equally delicious. Use a teriyaki or sweet and sour sauce to keep the chicken from drying out too much. HTH

      • Laura

Thank you! Mom, that lettuce wrap idea sounds like something my husband would like. I might give it a try!

You couldn’t pay me to eat Tyson’s chicken. Just a basic Google search on the company will show you how unethical, dirty, and horrible they are.

    • Willa

      My thoughts exactly.

      • Fatimah

My thoughts are… More chicken for me! Stupid people, get a life, stop complaining about everything.

Here, here Fatimah. There are other forum for complainers. This site is to help us save money. Thank you Collin.

    • Matthew

Here, here C and Willa. They are the ones that moved the conversation away from the deal. If you don’t like Tyson, don’t eat their chicken. If you do, then eat it. Simple as that.
