Deal Scenario:
Buy 2 Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razors $9.99 each

awesome deal will have to go check it out today 🙂 ty \

  2. Margo

couldn’t you also use the $5.oo off one when you buy a razor system? And $4.00 off the other….Then you would pay 10.98 get back $10. RR

    • squarejellybean

I have those coupons, I’m gonna use them both to make it .98 for both.

    • Laney

That’s the deal I did on sunday!! I think I’m going back to do it again… 50c a razor is awesome! I love razor deals!!

  3. Happy

i am new here, may i know what an RP is? where can i find those coupons? this is a good deal, id like to get one. thanks.

    • rae

RP = red plum newspaper insert. good luck w couponing and try not to get overwhelmed!

  4. Margo

OR how about…..could you do the $5.00 fusion coupon with the mach 3 B1G1….pay $4.99 and get $10.00???????

    • Momof2

I don’t think you can combine the two because it would be like using two coupons for one item of that makes sense? The bogo coupon is actually for the two items.

      • Stephanie

It only applies to the free item. Cvs policy says you can use a coupon on the first item as well.

        • Laney

It works…I did it yesterday already 🙂

          • Laney

I mean I used $5 off coupon (its buy one get one $5 off) PLUS the $4 off and scored them for 99c after reward. 50c per razor! yay!

    • Traci

I used two of the $5 off coupons so they ended up FREE after RR!

  5. Courtney

Would this work with a B1G1 coupon?

  6. Nikki

    Very clever, Margo 🙂

  7. Sasha

Hey Margo-where do we find these $5. Q’s?

  8. amie

The mach one would give a better deal if they are included in the rr. I just purchased 4 razors at Target though, used two 5.00 off and one target store coupon (I think it came in yesterdays paper or it was last weeks). Then I bought one Mach 3 and one Fushion and used the buy one get mach razor free plus target store coupon. SO for that one 18.78- 11.99 (the computer gave 11.99 off as it was up to 11.99 but this may not happen at all targets) plus the 3.00. Making them 1.89 each. I bought a target gift card for 25 and got 50 points for gas at Kroger. But I had a few other items to purchase at Target yesterday (Old Spice that was on clearance for my hubby) all in all, I didn’t make any money off of it, but to me it was a good deal for items I needed to buy yesterday. Didn’t realize Walgreens had the RR’s, I don’t like the RR deals unless they really make money for me. I just dont shop Walgreens enough.

  9. Margo

Sasha, they were in the September P & G

  10. Margo

I did the fusion with the mach 3 ….used the $5 for the one I bought and the get one free for the Mach 3 at CVS Saturday night….also got a Venus ($4.00 coupon) and the mach 3 with the free coupon…..had a 20% off coupon because they were not on sale….ending had a 00 subtotal paid tax. But not so familiar with Walgreens ….stopped going there because they never had anything in stock….waste of time and gas.

  11. Margo

Okay, MY BAD…looking at the sale paper and looks like maybe it is just the fusions….so the second deal wouldn’t work here but the $5. off and the $4.oo off the second would make it 10.98, get back $10.

  12. Jamie S.

thanks Margo. I had both of those coupons.Yeah! christmas gift for my hubby. he loves these fusion razors.

  13. Amber R.

Is there any printable coupons for the razor? I missed getting a paper that week so I don’t have the coupon 🙁

  14. Kristy

    Can u roll this deal

  15. Fanny

I have a few of the $4 Gillette Fusion Proglide Razor if anyone would like to trade for some of the pantene coupons from this weekend. You can e-mail me at clements0723 at yahoo dot com.

    Thank you!!!

    • may

Hi Fanny! You mean you need a $1 off two pantene products?

      • Fanny

        Hi May,

I was not able to get the newspaper on Sunday but heard there were some B1G1 Pantene coupons. I love pantene & hate that I could not get those coupons.

  16. Kathryn K

    i don’t get it why a $5 and a $4; can’t you use 2 $5.00 ones?
    2 x 9.99 less 2 5.00 coupon = pay 9.98 get 10 RR = -.02 plus tax

    • Jennifer

that would be a good deal, too.

  17. Jennifer

you could use the BOGO free coupon to make it a better deal (not combining with a $4 or $5 off q) instead of using a $5 or $4 off coupon for both items. Just pay $9.99 and receive $10 RR. $0.01 MM. but..if you use the BOGO q and either a $4 or $5 q together, and the cashier doesn’t catch it, i don’t see why not. unless you have a guilty conscience about these things. lol

    • Laney

The bogo I have is for disposables only I believe… and the $5 is for a buy one get one $5 off fusion (?) . So you cant use 2 – $5 ones for the deal and the bogo disposable gillette won’t work b/c fusions are not disposable. I worked thru this all sunday and seems the best deal is the 99c for both with bogo5 and $4 off.

  18. carol

SUCCESS!!! I didn’t have the $4 RP coupon for Gillette. But I was able to use the Gillette $5Q off WYB Gillette(P&G 8/26) along with the Free Mach3(P&G 8/26). I got all 3 razors for 14.98 plus $10 RR. I had cashier scan the free Mach3 Q first. I didn’t try it any other way so not sure if the order made a difference. Any one know if you can use 2 of the $5 Gillette Q’s in the same transaction? My friendly cosmetics cashier did a mock ringing of all 3 w/ those 2 Q’s to see if it would work & it did! I should have had her try 2 $5Q AND the Free Mach3 Q next, but alas, I did not.

  19. Tony

I have done the deal many times. I did it differently. I bought 2 proglide razors =19.98 and a mach 3 razor =29.97 for all 3 razors. I used the 5.00 off =24.97, the b1g1 free =15.97and the 3 dollars off the mach 3 razor =12.97 and you get 10.00 rr back so 3 razors for 2.97.

You can also buy the mach 3 disposable razor for 7.99 with this deal and you use a different 3 dollar off coupon for the disposable razors. YMMV because the b1g1 coupon takes off 9.99 then its up to your cashier and your coupon ethics how they enter the coupon. I told my cashiers about the difference but the wrote down the 9.99 amount so i got all 3 razors for .97 cents after rr. Check the data bank for the 3.00 disposable mach 3 coupon. I think the other coupons are in the September pand g. good luck!

  20. Julie

I don’t know if anyone is signed up for the walk with walgreens but you can earn points for logging in your walk. For every 2,000 steps you earn 10 points. I have earned 60 points so far just by walking!

  21. Blaise

I used (2) $5.00 off and (2) Free Mach 3, both found in september p&G! Got 2 fusion pro-glide razor systems, (2) 3 pk disposable mach 3 razors and only pd 8.58! Got back $10RR so basically i made money!

    • Wendy

you said you use (2) Free Mach 3, are you talking about the BOGO? I havent seen any Free Mach coupons.

  22. des

Since we have started w/ Balance Rewards, can I do a separate Gilette transaction and still get $10 RR since it says limit 1 per household? or do I have to get hubby to use his card? Also, they say you can’t earn points if you’re paying w/ Balance reward points…is this true?

    • carol

The Gillette deal doesn’t give BR so you don’t have to use your card for it. I did 2 transactions the same way and used my card though. There wasn’t a problem. No you can’t earn points if you are using points to pay. You probably don’t have enough points yet, but as an example, you could do the Gillette deal w/ Q’s, getting your RR & pay using your points…however, someone posted on another blog that you can only use points in blocks of $5. I hadn’t read that anywhere. I just thought you couldn’t use them until you reached $5. Still investigating that.

      • Cooper

Have 2 use points in 5,000/$5 blocks & spending in at least $5 increments… I’ve been doing this in duane reade, a store chain they purchased in NYC, and for at least 2 years

  23. shirl

Did this deal and used 1 $5/1 and 1 $4/1 and paid $10.98 for both and got 1 $10 RR. Technically with tax it came to around .99/razor.. Great Deal for good quality razors 😉
    Thanks

  24. Cooper

Well, it’s not in my store in NY State, so lucky U. Tried it @the Register & was full price 🙁

  25. shirl

If you have 5,000 ($5) worth of points you can not buy something that only cost $3. I tried that today and was told that I had to spend at least $5 or more… HTH

  26. Sarah

Can you use the b1g1 Gillette disposable razor combined with the 5/1 gillette fusion razor coupon and still receive the RR? I wasnt sure as the disposable’s were not showing as part of the ones listed in the ad.
