  1. Jennifer

is anyone else having trouble getting the free shipping on the hair care? Thx!

    • Jennifer

I called target and they told me that the only item with free shipping is the sold out item on the front page of The daily deals. What?

  2. Me

not all products qualify for free shipping (the item on the front page of the deal has free shipping though)

  3. Anna

    Thank you!!!

  4. Mandy B

Does anybody have a Target red card – debit card? I was thinking of signing up for one, but am a little confused as to how it works. Does it draw from your bank account? Or do you have to physically put money into the account to use it? I think if you have a red card, you always get free shipping on the website.

    • Christine

It draws from your bank account and yes, you always get free shipping and 5% off.

      • Mandy B

Thanks Christine! I’ll def. be signing up for one this week.

        • gohogsgoinar

Just take a check to the cashier and they will have you set up with a Target Red Debit card in about 3 minutes. I have mine and LOVE it! Also, make sure that you link it with your pharmacy rewards (if you use the Target Pharmacy) and after 5 different prescription fills/refills you get a 5% off your total purchase that can be used with the Target Red Debit card for a total of 10% off your total purchase! 🙂

    • Marie S.

I have both the Target red card and the debit card. Both will give you 5% off in the stores, but Target online does not accept the debit card for payment so you won’t be able to use it to get the 5% off and free shipping online.

  5. Megan

I really like using Professional Hair Care Products. JcPenny salon has marked down their prices along with the whole store (instead of having coupons). I got the Matrix Biologe in the bigger containers, one shampoo and one conditioner for $18.00. That is the regular new price at JcPenny salon. They carry many other brands and the prices are great.

  6. Ali

So can I go into the store and get the buy one get one on these hair care? Thx

    • Ashley57

No, this is an online-only deal. If you sign up for a redcard (good explanation of it above) you can get it shipped to you for free.

    • Sarah Killingsworth

I saw this deal the other day in the store, I think it ends on the sixth. The day I was in, there was also a $5 target gift card that came with the purchase of 2 nexxus products.

      • Kidsallgone

So wait…there is a BOGO “in store” til the 6th? PLUS you get a $5 gift card w/2 nexxus? That seems like a great deal to me 🙂 (and do I have a coupon in my stash somewhere for Nexxus???!!??)

  7. Kimberly

i think your subtotal before discount has to be over $50 to qualify for free shipping. if you have a red card you qualify for free shipping, plus it takes 5% off your order on top of the buy one get one free deal

  8. Dana

Some of them say that they are b1g1 free but only available in stores, Ex. the TIGI dry shampoo, does that mean this sale is going on in stores as well?

  9. Kelly

I just bought the Bumble and Bumble Styling Lotion B1G1 and got the free shipping no problem. I love that stuff! On a side note, I did not see this deal at my store and I was just there yesterday. Maybe it is a regional deal?

    • Kelly

I should add my total was just over $30 with taxes for the two bottles and I did not use a red card to get free shipping.

  10. Kidsallgone

Ever since I got the Miss Jessies shampoo & conditioner samples for free (last month?) I have been debating about buying them ($$$$). I was about to buy them last night from Targe, but didn’t. When I saw this post this morning, I was so excited! But darn it! I didn’t see Miss Jessies items listed for this deal 🙁 🙁 🙁 OK, well I think I’m going to make a trip to Target to get the Nexxus and also get that recycle bag/container some of us got the free coupon for 🙂 🙂 🙂

***I’m always open to trying new hair products (shampoo and/or conditioners). Collin said she likes the B&B. Can anyone vouch for that product or any others? Thanks 🙂

  11. Alysia

As a hairstylist, I urge you not to buy professional haircare products from places like Target and Walmart. They are not selling these products legally. It is diverted product that is often old. Because Target and Walmart can obviously afford to pay the fine that comes along with selling professional products illegally, theres not a lot my industry can do about it. The products do not come from Bumble and Bumble (for example), but rather from suppliers who go out of business and sell to places like Target. Printed on most professional products is “only guaranteed when purchased from a salon”. This is because who knows how long it has sat in a hot warehouse, etc. And besides, the product I usually see at Target is priced a lot higher than what I sell it for. Support your hairstylist by buying it from her/him.

    • Sunny

      Thanks for that info.

    • Rachel

I highly doubt Target and Walmart are selling name brand hair products illegally and that no manufacturer is catching on if this is the case. I do believe that as most manufactures have discovered is that they want to sell their products at the top retailers in the US such as Walmart, etc. and are making more sales there then at individual salons. I agree with you that people should look at how much it is at their local hairstylist and help support them. Also, I think places like Tj Maxx, etc., Big Lots, etc. are the ones getting the discontinued and old products, however, no one knows how long products like these sit on the shelves at Cvs or Amazon or Target.

      • Alysia

Sadly, I think you are right about some of the brands being very happy about the sales they are getting from mass retailers. As a result, some salons have embraced brands who refuse to “sell out” and have strict anti-diversion policies.

    • ash

i was a little surprised to see paul mitchell products listed on here for sale because it does state on the back of their products something about it not being guaranteed unless sold in a salon. also, the salon that i go to actually stopped selling the bedhead styling products because of the fact that walmart, target, etc are able to sell them now, but it was actually cheaper to buy the products from the salon!!

    • Nikki

Kind of a funny post. hehehe
Particularly when one knows the ridiculous mark-up on these products.
I laugh every time I’m @ my salon & the stylist calls shampoo or hairpray “product”, as tho it were some special elixer only they were privy to.
      Shampoo is shampoo.Period.
Read up on reviews @ Consumer Reports-a real eye-opener.

  12. Jennifer

I got FS on mine. I think it looks at the price before bogo as my final price is $35.

    • serena

      What did you buy Jennifer?

  13. Em

Cloth diaper mommas: do you like these?

    • cindi

They’re very soft fleece and have and adjustable elastic similar to the fuzzibunz style. I found the sizing to be a bit wider and shorter in the rise so they wouldn’t fit my 2 1/2 yr. old. For whatever reason they leaked like crazy for me which is too bad because they are soft and well priced. The pocket for the insert is in the front not the back which some people like better – it depends on which way your babys poo seems to go 😉 For this price it might be worth the buy if you’re super interested, although I would cast my vote for fuzzibunz or the ever popular bumgenius. They are popular for a reason!

    • Nicole d

I can’t vouch for the one size but the sized are our favorites and we own fuzzi bunz, bum genius, and prefolds they are very soft and just seem a higher quality then other brands they hold up through washes and drying and are so much more absorbent then other inserts I use them In my other brands

      • E

Thanks all! I love my bumgenius, but I was thinking about picking up some more…decisions, decisions!

  14. Shirley Lin

I just bought 4 cans of the Big Sexy pump spray. I was about to buy it on Ulta.com when I saw this special. Had I done that, I would have paid $70 plus tax and shipping for all 4 cans. With the free shipping, I just bought 4 cans of the same from Target for $39. LOVE IT!!

  15. Nicole

I have been waiting for Charlie banana diapers!!!!!!!!! I am so EXCITED!!!!

  16. Amy

I had 4 Redken products in my cart (to get to $50, before the discount, for free shipping) and by the time I got to the end of checkout 2 had sold out. Now I can’t get free shipping. I looked around the whole site to see if there was anything else I needed, to get me to $50, and I didn’t find anything. But then I noticed the large bottles of shampoo and conditioner, which are sold in the store, actually work out to a better price per ounce, paying full price, than the smaller bottles with the BOGO sale. That might be something to look at. Buying in bulk at regular price, at least for Redken, seems to be a better deal.

  17. Priya

Collin, thank you SO much for posting the cloth diaper deal! 😉

  18. Natalya

Thank you! I had a great online shopping today at target.com and striderite!

  19. Emily

I am considering cloth diapering mine due in January after using disposables on my other child. How many is a good number to have on hand. I’ll probably use some disposables as well. What inserts are the best? Any other tips? Thanks!

    • E

This forum is good place to get your footing: https://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/

Ignore any judge-y folks on there. Some people clearly don’t have enough to do, haha.

You’ll love it. My first was in sposies but the rest are in cloth. My husband and I are both ER docs, we have a litter of kids and we manage to do it, but, it’s not for everyone. Especially if you loath laundry.

      • Emily

        Thanks, I’ll check it out!

    • renie

Hi Emily. I used cloth diapers on my set of TWINS! 🙂 This was 13 years ago, and diapers have come a long ways. I used the reg. white cloth diaper as inserts with the plastic velcro wrap. I would have at least 6 wraps, and at least 2 doz inserts (you cant have too many.) I also kept a bucket filled with water and laundry soap in laundry room and would soak the dirty diapers. Then at the end of the day, throw it in washer. I 100% recommend cloth diapers; easy, saves lots of money, and good for the environment! Good luck and hopes this helped.

      • Emily

        Thanks so much! 🙂

  20. DrLadybug

Hey everyone! Though I don’t necessarily like to advertise for shopkick because I’m not completely happy with it . . . don’t forget to use your $2 “online only” Target giftcard from last week on this deal, too! 😉

  21. Heather

Thank you! Just stocked up on Sexy Hair Gel that is ridiculously expensive ($17 a jar) that my husband loves and rarely goes on sale! I also was able to use a link for $5 off $50 that I found on retailmenot.com. Great buy!

  22. andrea

Charlie Banana diapers are sold out 🙁 Oh the irony of having a newborn and not being able to get to the PC…

    • jRoberts

      You aren’t alone!

  23. Lizzett Ramirez

Mine isn’t coming up as BOGO when i checked out it says “QTY: 1” Was i suppose to stroll down and put 2?

  24. Kitty

I bought an American Crew shampoo and conditioner and got BOGO with free shipping 🙂 Shopathome give 4% cash back too.
