If you are a Walgreens shopper, check out the email and picture I received from reader, Shannyn, regarding a few great deals she was able to score on Revlon beauty tools:

Just wanted to let you know that Revlon Beauty Tool products are generating a $2.00 Catalina coupon at check-out.

First I bought (2) Nail Clippers B1G150% off (1)@$3.39 and (1)@$1.69. I used the $1.00 coupon on any manicure or pedicure from the Walgreens Oct. booklet pg.22 (takes off $2.00). So my cost for this transaction was $3.08. I received a $2.00 Catalina coupon on any Revlon Beauty Tool and was able to turn around and do this transaction again using this coupon to take the cost down to $.54 each. I received another $2.00 coupon after that transaction.

Second I bought (2) Tweezers B1G150% off (1)@$3.49 and (1)@$1.69. I could not use the coupon from the Oct. coupon booklet (this is for manicure or pedicure tools only). I used the $2.00 Catalina coupon and received 2,000BR (wyb select Revlon Beauty Tools) bringing my cost down to just $.61 each. And yes this generated another $2.00 Catalina coupon.

If you are interested in trying out the same scenarios as Shannyn did (although, I can’t guarantee that you will also get back the Catalina coupons), then here is a breakdown:

Deal Scenario #1:
Buy 2 Revlon Nail Clippers $3.39 each + on sale buy 1 get 1 50% off
Minus buy 1 get 1 50% off sale = $5.09
Use the $1/1 Revlon Manicure or Pedicure Implements Walgreens coupon found in the October Coupon Booklet (will deduct $2 for purchasing two)
Pay $3.09 (+ tax) for 2 nail clippers
Possibly get back a $2 Catalina manufacturer’s coupon to use on ANY Revlon Beauty Tool purchase

Deal Scenario #2:
Buy 2 Revlon Nail Clippers $3.39 each + on sale buy 1 get 1 50% off
Minus buy 1 get 1 50% off sale = $5.09
Use the $1/1 Revlon Manicure or Pedicure Implements Walgreens coupon found in the October Coupon Booklet (will deduct $2 for purchasing two)
PLUS, use the $2 Catalina manufacturer’s coupon from the previous transaction
Pay $1.09 (+ tax) for 2 nail clippers
Possibly get back another $2 Catalina manufacturer’s coupon to use on ANY Revlon Beauty Tool purchase

Deal Scenario #3:
Buy 2 Revlon Tweezers $3.49 each + on sale buy 1 get 1 50% off
Minus buy 1 get 1 50% off sale = $5.24
Use the $2 Catalina manufacturer’s coupon from the previous transaction
Pay $3.24 for 2 Revlon Tweezers
Plus, get back 2,000 Balance Rewards points (unadvertised special on select Revlon beauty tools?)
AND get back another $2 Catalina manufacturer’s coupon to use on ANY Revlon Beauty Tool purchase

Final out of pocket cost for all 6 Beauty Tools:
You will have spent a total of $7.42 (+ tax), which means each item only cost $1.24! …AND you’ll have another $2 Catalina manufacturer’s coupon to use on ANY Revlon Beauty Tool purchase! Plus, you’ll have 2,000 Balance Rewards points, which means you only need 3,000 more for a $5 Reward!

(Thanks, Shannyn!)

Have you ever had moments when you're either out of time or out of printer ink, or both, and you really want to keep track of a "Hip" deal or print a valuable coupon in the next day or two? Or what do you do when an outstanding, but pricey, deal is posted and you want to save it for discussion with your significant other? Well, now you're in luck! No more searching through pages of posts to find the coupon or the deal. Simply move the post to your Hip List and access it at your convenience.

How Does the Hip List Work?

It's easy! To use this feature, first head on over here and register and log into your Hip2Save.com account. Whenever you find a great deal that you want to come back to later at a later time, just click on the HIP List icon located on each post (see images below) and the information will be saved in your account. To remove a post from your HIP List, just click on the HIP List icon and it will be removed.

When logged into your account, you will see the HIP List icon at the bottom of every post if you are viewing Hip2Save.com in classic view.

If you prefer to view Hip2Save.com in river view, you will see the HIP List icon located on every post above the post title and to the right.

If you're wanting to print a certain deal, blog post, or the Weekly Store Matchups from your HIP list, click on the small blue printer icon in the upper right corner of the HIP list. This will allow you to customize the information that you want or don't want to include when printing from your HIP list so you're only printing the information that's most important to you! If there are deals (or portions of deals) that you are not interested in printing, just click on the red x button to remove them. To restore a section, click on the green arrow icon in the upper right hand corner.
