The butter cookie recipe that comes with that press is amazing.. and cheap! I used to pop out over 6 dozen cookies with one batch. Great when the boys would tell me last minute when their holiday parties were and so much better than the ones in a tin!

Maybe they changed the recipe that came with it? I’ve had mine about 7 years or so. The secret to it is the temperature of the dough. I have found it actually needs to be at almost room temperature, or it sticks in the gun and makes blobs.

I have the pampered chef cookie press too. You need to make the right kind of cookies for it to work correctly. I used a recipe from the booklet that came with it, and I couldn’t get it to work right. Then a few years ago I found a spritz cookie recipe on all recipes.com and it worked. Have fun with your cookie press!

Yea FREE cookies. My daughter has an August birthday. She is a now 13. So we do not have a party in August. We wait until December and have a all girls cookie party. We order pizza have all her PEEPS come over to decorate cookies. They take home a plastic container of cookies. My daughter loves this and the girls ask every year if she is doing this.
