Does anyone know if explorer games will work on the leapster2 for sure?

No they will not work on the original leapster or leapster 2. They will only work in the explorer or leappad.

They will only work on the leapster explorer, leapster explorer gs, leappad explorer, and leappad 2 explorer. They will not work on leapster or leapster 2 systems.

My son has a Leapfrog Explorer and loves it. I think it is perfect for ages 3-6. The Leapfrog LeapPad is the newest model. But both the Explorer and the LeapPad take the same cartridges.
