I have a pesky Kohl’s Cash concern. I earned $30 over the weekend from my original purchase of approximately $110. Some of the items in the original purchase will be given as gifts and I intended to grab a few more things today, with the Kohl’s Cash, that will also be given as gifts.
I read that if an original item is returned, the Kohl’s Cash value will be decreased/not refunded if it has already been spent. How does that affect gifts? If my recipients want to return/exchange something, I assume that they will receive an in-store credit… which (hopefully) does not impact the value of the other gifts?
I don’t know why this is so hard for me to wrap my brain around – maybe I’m still in a turkey daze! Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

If someone returns something using a gift receipt, the Kohl’s cash will be deducted. For instance, you gave them a $50 gift, and then bought something for $15 for you. If they return the item with the gift receipt, they will only get $35.
I’m having $75 Kohl’s Cash and want to buy those pants with that. Am I going to have the rest back or I’ll have to use it all in one transaction?
