Thanks!
Sarah says:
Awesome! Thank you so much! I liked Shopkick better before they started using the lookbooks, but I really was able to get so much free stuff from them last year that I am not going to complain to much!
Laura Johnson says:
Me too- I don’t like it NEARLY as much now. It’s harder to navigate now
Catie says:
I really wnjoy shoplift so far! I have been using it just about a month! Would love it if anyone would like to sign up using my link! http://get.shopkick.com/encinitas8562
Catie says:
Enjoy shopkick, not shoplift! Stinking auto correct!
Carolyn says:
This totally made me laugh!
shanshan says:
“Wnjoy shoplift”… LOL!
MEGAN says:
thanks! it will come in handy at the 70% off toy clearance coming up hopefully soon!
Amanda says:
This is not a new $2 reward if you already redeemed a $2 reward directly through Shopkuck about a week or two ago. I was not able to get another $2 reward to Target.
Amanda says:
Oops, still getting used to my iPhone! I meant Shopkick!
Bianca says:
I wasn’t able to get it either- another couponing blog posted the Target gift card a few weeks ago, it appears to be the same one.
Sheila says:
I’m so confused. I can never find anything on Shopkick, and it never looks like anything that Collin posts. All I can see are the lookbooks. I can’t find the “featured” tab, or the page that Collin shows on the screenshot. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!
Ashley says:
you need to download the Target app to get the shopkick giftcard.
sstsau says:
Yes, I just realized I missed that! SMH! I’m too tired, lol! Thanks though!
Still, I find that I have a lot of trouble with the Shopkick App in general. In the past, I haven’t been able to find things that Collin posts about. And my GPS never seems to work when I try to use it in store. I wonder if it is the App’s problem, or my phone’s?
mb says:
the featured tab is on the target app
i got a sorry u already redemmed message i got the one cpl weeks ago guess thats y
sstsau says:
Yes, I just realized I missed that! Sorry, I guess I’m a little too tired right now, lol! I appreciate your replies, though!
Still, I seem to have problems with the Shopkick App in general. A lot of times I can’t find things that Collin posts about, and it doesn’t seem to work when I try and use it in store. I don’t know if it’s a problem with the App, or maybe it’s my phone?
Katy says:
When I tried to use the last $2 Target gift card, the locator on the app had me like 5 miles down the road even though I was in the store. It wasn’t until I was checking out and about to give the cashier my money that it finally figured out I was at Target. Better late than never I guess
Izabela says:
I have this direct link http://get.shopkick.com/bakersfield9507
but I guess I have different menu than you Collin…
Yvonne Bush says:
I dont see the $2 target thing
Luis M says:
Hey guys!
Would you mind using my link if you register for a ShopKick account?

Katyln says:
I have both apps and do not see the $2 gift card. Am I doing something wrong?
Izabela says:
Yes. You might have downloaded Target App for iPad. You need the one for iPhone. iPad app is way different.
Izabela says:
Ok. It worked! Thank you ! I did not know that you also have to download Target App for iPhone..then open it and click on featured tab, and scroll down, click on the $2 target gift card and follow the prompts..Thank ya!
Ashley says:
How do you use the gift card to show up? It shows on my My Stuff page but when I click on the target icon it just says to use it within 29 days or remove it.
Carolyn says:
You’ll have to have Shopkick open on your phone when you walk into Target in 29 days… easy peasy
Ashley says:
Great! Thanks for your help. I just found this app and haven’t learned everything on it yet.
Christine says:
How do you redeem it at Target once it’s added?
Megan says:
You have to complete a walk in at Target then it will be in “My Stuff.” You have to open the giftcard and show it to the cashier and they’ll scan it for you.
Brenda says:
Got it yay!!! Thanks
Molly says:
Would I b able to get it if my iPhone only works with wifi, I have no cell phone service?
MaLu says:
I believe most Target stores offer Free WiFi
Beth says:
It would be awesome if someone would use my Shopkick link to sign-up. Thanks!!! http://get.shopkick.com/redding5462
Andria says:
Got mine!
You use it by opening up the app > my stuff > rap on the flashing target card. The cashier will scan it!
Andria says:
Tap not rap, although that might make for some fun at the register! Lol
Tim Fisher says:
You’re very welcome!
Mary says:

Sarah says:
I helped you out
Carolyn says:
Thanks so much!! I also forgot that I have another $2 Target GC on my Shopkick stuff… maybe I’ll treat my girls and me to lunch some day soon for less
shanshan says:
Hi All! I’m curious how much extra money are you guys saving per month due to the use of apps on a smart phone while shopping at Target, Walmart, Walgreens plus CVS? If I upgrade from non-smart to a smart phone it’ll cost me $20 extra per month. TIA!
ketsy says:
I did some semi math on this. If you are an addict of special things, Target, Starbucks, etc. you’ll get your money’s worth maybe but not more than $20 unless you have no life lol and go on the shopping sprees. Shopkick and Ibotta help but theres the one where you check out products at store and scan them than makes you money. I can’t due it because 3 kids under 6 in tow at the grocery just doesn’t make it worth it to me. I don’t think it will cover your bill. lol However, I did get a tablet which works best for me because I can do most of the fun money making things she posts and also print from it with a wireless printer which gets me double the hot coupons. Save up for a tablet, well worth it and will pay for itself. HTH
ketsy says:
Sorry, apparently shopkick is the app to scan and get as well. I deleted mine for lack of use and downloading it again just to get this 2 bucks. lol
Laura says:
I have shopkick and Ibotta. I know a lot of people like viggle but I don’t have TV and you need TV to do that. I’ve only had ibotta for a few weeks since it just became available on android. Shopkick is my favorite because I regularly visit Target and Target is one of their main stores. I visit Target a few times a week and try to get as many scans as I can. There are a limit to how many scans you can do however. You can also do scans at Walmart and some other stores. With ibotta, there just aren’t that many products in the list that I buy regularly. I’ve purchased a few things just to get the ibotta money, however. I’d say that I probably get about $20 from all my apps. If it only costs you $20 and you’ve been wanting some of the other features of having a smart phone, then I’d do it, but if you’re only going to get one for the apps, it may not be worth the amount of time it takes. It really depends on how often you shop, where you shop, etc.
Holly says:
I upgraded to a smart phone about 6 months ago and it has totally been worth the $20 a month. Comes in handy when I stop somewhere I wasn’t planning on and can pull up coupons online to use (e.g. Michaels, Hobby Lobby) in addition to the ibotta, groupon, and shopkick apps. Probably come close to breaking even every month with what I save, but I also like having the smartphone for other functions too.
Zaza says:
Whenever I try to use shopkick, i cannot get the walkin points. I don’t know why? Do I have to delete and download again??
Laura says:
My target is very specific on where I stand in the store. I have to get it right as I walk in, right up by the carts, not anywhere else in the store. Scans will work fine everywhere else, but the initial walk in points as to be by the carts, by the first produce stand, or by the front display where they put all the sale items. The first aisles are too far away and the checkout is too far away.
Sapphire Blu says:
How do we collect Kicks by scanning? Do we scan everything or specific items? How do we know what to scan? I have a bar code scanner app, is this what we use?
Thanks in advance
ketsy says:
The app tells you what to scan at what store and you point your cam and click and the apps knows to give you the points.
Sharon says:
Does Shopkick work with wifi only now? I downloaded it some time ago, but it wouldn’t work on my wifi-only tablet.
Gail says:
if you redeemed the other one Collin posted about earlier this year you can’t also get this one.
BUT i thank you for posting this and cool that so many other people are getting it now.
Michele says:
These $2 GC never work in the store. The computer never recognizes the codes. But if I order something online, then I can enter the code for the GC and it works. I just tried having the cashier scan my phone last night and got nothing but errors. I’ll have to wait until I need to order something.
kara says:
Make sure the cashier chooses gift card not coupon.
Jen says:
Hmm I tried using it today and It kept asking amount to add … I don’t know if she did coupon or not I will try again
Lynn says:
OK, so I did all the steps. But my $2 is not showing up in My Stuff?! Sorry I’m a newbie…
Jennifer says:
If you don’t want to download the target app, you can go through this link and have the GC sent to shopkick.

I already have the Target app on my iPhone. I don’t see the Shopkick link. Did anyone else have this problem? Is this only for new people downloading theTarget app?
Jennifer says:
Hi Kathy – try going through this link directly. You should be able to access this through your desktop or mobile device.
http://app.shopkick.com/gift/50PLS21-50PLS22
Kathy says:
Jennifer, thank you. Your link worked but it said I already used this deal. Some of the other comments said this is not a new deal so I guess I got it already. Thanks so much for your help!
cheryl says:
hmmm – says ‘Uh Oh! You’ve already redeemed this gift!’ = How is that possible, I just downloaded the Target app this morning? Oh well – love Shopkick anyways
Jen says:
Love shopkick!

michelle says:
Okay…I need a little bit of help from someone. I’ve scrolled through all of the comments above…but I’m new to shopkick and need some tips. So do I really go through the store and just scan stuff that I’m not buying and I earn points?
And is that the only way we earn rewards (besides walking in a store and activating shopkick)? I just want to make sure I do this right…want to get the best deals with this new app
Thanks in advance!!
Leslie says:
I am new to this and would greatly appreciate someone’s help. I just went to target for the toothbrush deal and did the shopkick thing. It says I have a gift from target on shopkick, under the little gift badge, but I can’t click the tag thing. How do I actually get access to the gift card? So lost!!! Thank you in advance for your help
Momoffive says:
You have to go to the person icon on the upper left, and it will take you to a screen with a few options. Hit the “my stuff” tab and you’ll see a bonus board and any gift cards you have. Hit the gift card and it will pull up a scannable UPC that you show to the cashier. Hope that helps!

i wud be thankful if someone uses my link

Help! I have a shopkick app and a target app on my phone. However, when I went to the target app and tried to get the 2 dollars added to my shopkick account (after typing in my phone number) it stated that I didn’t have a shopkick account. What do I do?
Jeff Walker says:
Got it! Found it yesterday while cruising the website of Target.
mira says:
Omg thanks collin. I loveee to use the two dollar gift carda on the dollar section at target
naomi says:
i got a tablet for christmas
Sara says:
Thanks! It worked for me! and I got the $2 gc a couple weeks ago, too. Good directions, Collin! Thanks!
Sara says:
just kidding- it finally popped up and said I already claim this offer. Oh, well. Thanks all the same! $2 is TWO BUCKS!
Nicole says:
My app never picks up that I’m in a Target so I never get walk in kicks and the gc won’t work if it doesn’t read the walk in
Christy says:
If your store doesn’t recognize you for walk in kicks then let the manager know. Shopkicks sends the store a transmitter to install at the front that sends the signal to your phone. If theirs isn’t working or isn’t installed then the store needs to get it taken care of and if enough people complain maybe they will. My brother works at best buy and theirs wasn’t working. After I nagged him enough he spent a day getting it back up and working
Destinee says:
This is the 3rd time Shopkick has done this to me. I followed the steps and now its saying I already redeemed the offer…and the gift card isnt coming up in “my gifts”. I am soooo done with this app!!
Shannon says:
I downloaded it today. After having a hard time even getting it to recognize me in the store, I couldn’t get the $2 gift card to load. I had the app open as soon as I walked in the store, it logged me in and gave me my kicks. Then…I went around and scanned a few things from the list. But, when I got to the checkout and pulled up the $2 gift card, it just kept saying to walk into a Target within the next 29 days. How do I get the scannable bar code to come up? I was already inside the store and the app had already been open, so…any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!
