I was so disappointed in these “girl” legos. the minifigures are not compatable and many of the bricks are not either. My girls LOVE LOVE LOVE legos and we were hoping to add these to our collection, but after getting a sample set of them, realized they are not the same lego men we have come to love

Yes, the girls are totally different than the traditional minifigures, but the Lego pieces are the same.

Yesterday you posted a boys set and this one today. They both seem like a good price, but in both cases the “sale” price on Amazon was the regular price at walmart. I’ve just found Legos to be an inflated price on Amazon.

If you have a little girl who loves horses, this is the best LEGO set ever made. My 6-year-old daughter has played with her set every day since Christmas and she loves it. I sure wish there would have been a sale like this before Christmas.

The regular prices are what Lego.com has them listed for. The sale prices are sales, but the same as Wal-Mart (free shipping to store)… so it depends on where you want to buy or if you have enough to get free shipping on Amazon. The Lego Friends did not go on sale this last Nov/Dec for Christmas except for at Toys R Us where they were buy 1, get the lower priced 1 at 50% off (so at max 25% off both if they were equal priced). So… most of these are great deals for the time being! Believe me… I’m scouring for these. My daughter loves them and they have just been too high in price!

I mostly agree Beth. Walmart does have them for cheaper right now (with site to store shipping), but that’s not their usual price. Even though it doesn’t say they are on sale or discounted they are. You just have to know your regular Lego prices and be careful. Alway check Lego.com for the real price to know for sure. My family is super into legos, so I know my prices well and always watch for the best sale.
There haven’t been many sales on the Friends legos in the last year and even at TRU when they do have a rare BOGO 50% and the Friends aren’t excluded, TRU usually jacks up their prices and they are 5-10% higher to begin with before the BOGO 50%.
