As I mentioned yesterday, iHeartRadio has partnered with research.fm to allow YOU to rate and have an impact on the music you hear on your favorite radio stations. Even sweeter, they’re currently offering up a FREE $5 Amazon.com Gift Card just for signing up and completing a brief introductory survey (NOTE – Survey will be sent in a few days to the email address you enter on that page).

I found it a bit confusing. When I put in my email address it said an account already existed(maybe I did that when I applied?). It sent me a password and I was able to log in(and then change/choose my own password). Unlike others, I had the choice to redeem $2 and $5. So of course I chose the $5 and the code was displayed instantly!

I did the survey and it says there is a $5 reward but when I go to the claim box, it only has the amount of $2 to scroll to. Is there something I am missing?

I just got an e-mail from the site saying that my reward was available now. It did give me the option of my $5 when I logged into my account. Hope yours is up too.

“Gee – this is embarrassing…we are temporarily out of $5 gift card codes. Our business manager has placed a rush order with Amazon.com and we expect the gift card codes to arrive very soon. So many of our panelists have participated in surveys this week that we can’t hand out the rewards fast enough!

It’s probably because today they ran out of the $5 gift codes, so they only had $2 gift codes to offer. Now they don’t have any. When I did one last week – they gave me the option of choosing $2 or $5.

Yeah same here, sounds to me like they are trying to get one over on us, its not hard for amazon to send electronic codes, So I think they best we are gonna get from this survey is a 2$ Gift card…..maybe they have some chewing gum with free shipping that we can get with that.

It’s funny I did 3 for all the members of my house with all three of the same answers and 1 qualified and 2 didn’t! That’s odd! If you get the “didn’t qualify” message do you still get the $5???? Because it did say get $5 for singing up didn’t it?

FYI – the gift cards are now available to redeem. Just in January alone, I got $30 in free Amazon gift cards through research.fm, swagbucks & the Ford Focus you posted about. Trying to coupon a way to the caribbean with the kiddos and this is helping purchase our underwater camera! Thanks!
