Walmart sells the Laugh and Learn Puppy for $15, so $10 with the coupon, so depending on the item the deal may still be better elsewhere.

That’s what I was going to mention, even at target the price is around $15 for the puppy so $10 after coupon, it only seems like a good deal when it’s “free” but when they mark the toys up $10 more then everywhere else doesn’t make it that great

I used this sale last year to get some Fisher Price LIttle People toys for very cheap! I think I had a coupon for one but I am not sure. It was still a good deal with the coupon! I think I like the Little People toys more than my kids!

From what I can tell in their website, the BOGO only applies to FP infant toys. Little People aren’t included.

I think that applies to internet only discount coupons and codes (?). I know I have used printed coupons before at my TRU and they’ve worked just fine.

Vanessa, they take coupons. I do not know if they do on free items though.
Target’s register would not combine my emailed $/$ purchase toysrus coupon with the bogo deal.

You can use the “contact” feature to submit a deal. I think they sometimes pull them off FB, but using the contact link on the blog I think is better.

The coupons work great at Toysrus. I bought 4 items yesterday. I did not try a coupon on a free item though. The emailed toysrus $/$ coupon can not be used on the bogo deal since all the bogo items are considered on sale.

There is also great deals at Kmart on the Laugh and Learn Dog and the Sleepy time Elmo. Laugh and Learn Dog is on sale for $14.99, so use $5 Q to pay only $9.99. Some of the Elmo toys are 50% off. So the sleepy time elmo was on sale for $8.99. Use $3 Q and pay only $5.99. Great deals when the dog was orginally $24.99 and Elmo was $17.99.

So I went to TRU tonight to buy the Laugh and Learn Stride-to-Ride puppy and the Musical Table. They informed me that the free item had to be under 24.99 so I asked if I could use the 10 bucks off coupons for both to get it under 24.99 and she said I could not combine the free item and coupons. So I went to look around and basically just ended up gettin the Laugh and Learn Stride-to-Ride puppy with the $10 off coupon since I could not get a free item and use the coupon! Just thought I’d share. TRU is VERY tricky with their coupons. You can almost never combine coupons with ANY sale item!

Just curious…if they were giving an item away for free why wouldn’t you get something under $24.99? its still free with or without the coupon…
I went last night and got the Fisher Price Poppity-Pop Musical Dino for $34.99 used the $5 off coupon. I thought about getting the Love to Learn Puppy but since my kids already have one I got the Disney Baby Train $24.98 (on sale in my area) for free. My Toledo, OH store was super friendly and had no problems taking my coupons!

They said I could not combine offers! I could either get the BOGO free or use the coupon and after searching for something under the 24.99, I just decided to use the coupon and not get the free item. I am considering going back and talking to a manager because it doesn’t say not vaild with any other offers, ya know?

They are very misinformed. The BOGO is a store promotion and the coupons are from the manufacturer. They screwed you out of a free toy that you were completely entitled too. Now a store coupon is a different story. You cannot combine a store promotion with a store coupon. I would be making some phone calls if I were you. Tonight I bought the musical table, got the puppy for free then used the MQ’s for each. Call them. I’m mad for you!!!
