Mine has a number 1 on settings to do the update or you can go to settings>general>software update. I think you can also do it when you connect to itunes. Hope it helps!

Okay so I check in my settings and there is no software update option…I don’t have iTunes.

make sure u r connected to the Internet when u try this, then do as above noted, go to your settings, then to the general button, then to software update. it will say checking for software updates. plug in iPad as this may take awhile for u.
