Just did this deal a few minutes back: Got 4 Schicks at $4.39 each, 3 of them with $1.50 peelies on. Plus, picked up 2 Crest toothpaste for $2.87 each. Used the 3 peelies = $4.50 plus a $4/$20 coupon, final total was about $15 something, used some leftover ECBs to cover it, and got back $16 plus $6 = $22 ECBs back. Pretty nice moneymaker!
Worked in Atlanta, GA in two different CVS stores. I could only find one can left in each store. No peelies. Priced at $4.59, but still a good deal.
My Shop Rite in NJ had Schick Hydro with the orange label clearance for .99. I got 3 each with a .75 manufacturer coupon which was doubled. Shop Rite does not give overage but they were free.
Worked in Illinois. I got the last one and yes they had $1.50 peelie on them!

I did this on Sunday by accident… I was trying to do the Schick deal get back 2.00 ECB. To my surprise I got a back 4.00 ECB. Yayy! I went back later that day and found a display with $1.50 peelies on them and did the deal three more times. The limit on this is four. If you look at the bottom of your receipt it tracks as two different deals, but isn’t specific. Schick buy 1 get 2 (limit 2), and Schick buy 1 get 4(limit 4).
Schick in southern MO was $3.99– $0.74 money maker! Woo hoo!
Was able to do this in North Judson, IN yesterday. Got 4… only one had a peelie, but still amazing deal! 🙂
I found out late yesterday that in my CVS they will honor the Rite Aid Manufacturer’s coupon from the Rite Aid flyer taking $2.00 off because it is a manufacturer’s coupon. Have not tried to do the deal but will let you know how I make out later tomorrow.
CVS will be fixing this in the morning.

I did the deal earlier and it was limit 2, so I had gone back for the limit 2, and my surprise now it’s saying I can do it 2 more times. So it’s now a limit 4. Check your receipts! And for peelies of $1.50. I only could find one! =(

I was able to use the Rite Aid coupon so it took $2.00 off each one making it even a better moneymaker. My first CVS did not have that particular gel but further down the road, our other CVS had 3 of them! I just want to take this time to thank my husband for going great lengths to find the shaving cream at another CVS. Thanks John for believing we would find the deal when all I wanted to do is go back home!

I live in Manitowoc WI and I did this deal earlier tonight. The sticker said that you receive $2 extra bucks, but I did get the $4 EBC!! There where no stickies on them though. It was still are great deal though $4.19/each bought 2 = $8.38 total with $8 EBC = $0.38 for two ONLY $0.19 each!!!
I did it here in Menomonee Falls, WI…I received a $2 off $5 facial care purchase when I scanned my cvs card at the coupon center and I also had (2) .75off cpns and I received the $8 ECB!!! very good deal 🙂

I did it today but the price at my store was $4.49 each. didnt’ have another coupon so paid .49 each but still a good deal.

My CVS didn’t have the shaving cream anywhere to be found, not even a spot for it on the shelf, that I could see. There was one toothpaste left so that was good. They didn’t have their Easter candy out yet, even though it’s in the ad. It can be frustrating shopping at my store since often times they don’t have the stuff that’s on sale…but I keep going back 🙂 It is located next to Burger King where I can get my $0.25 coffee (through March 1)!

It’s not working anymore, Chris. If it was working at 7 am then I probably went a few minutes late.. lol.. because I checked out just after 8 and got only $8 ECBs. However, I did bring in the Rite Aid coupons for $2 each Schick and my CVS took them without any problem. So I guess that just balanced out the ECB difference 🙂
does CVS accept Rite Aid coupons?
I think that’s coupon fraud. It says coupon good only at Rite Aid on it and the barcode starts with rc…which I assume means rite-aid coupon. Not sure…just thinking out loud.
I think what she meant was that CVS matched the $2 off Rite Aid coupon….(I think)…
Let me just tell you how highly offended I am by this coupon fraud comment. That is not something I would ever resort to, and especially not for a shaving gel.
For those who want to do the deal, please call your local CVS to ask if they will match Rite Aid’s offer. After reading someone’s comment here last night about Rite Aid’s $2 off offer, I called up my CVS, and asked a manager if he would accept the competitor’s coupon. He said they will be more than happy to do that. I went into the store this morning – for 4 shave gels, I took along 4 clipped coupons from Rite Aid’s paper. When it was scanned, the system beeped, which it should considering it’s a store coupon and not a manufacturer’s one, but the manager went ahead and deducted it manually.
I don’t think they should have accepted it since it was a rite aid coupon, but as long as it doesn’t have their logo on it it should be ok but per their coupon policy they don’t accept competitors coupons.
Actually, it does have Rite Aid’s logo on it and I guess some of the CVS do bend the rules every now and then. In any case, worked out great for me and for some other people who also were able to use the RA coupon at their CVS :)))) If it was such a strict policy, there wouldn’t be so many managers willing to give a discount to their customers.
Well that’s good for you however in the future I would ask to speak to the store manager so that he can approve because assistant managers get written up for doing things like that. I know my store would not have accepted it because they don’t get reimbursed for it.

It was the store manager who I communicated with, not the assistant manager.
What she did wasn’t coupon fraud Tiffany. Some CVS stores will accept competitor store coupons (even though it says otherwise in the coupon policy). Its not the norm, as CVS doesn’t get reimbursed for them. When a new Walgreens opened up a few blocks away, the 2 CVS stores in the surrounding area would accept their in-ad q’s, however they would override the price and fill out a slip of paper to put in the drawer with the coupon. That was like a year ago, and I did it once myself.
I wasn’t trying to offend you but doing something against a coupon policy just doesn’t make sense to me. As couponers we already have a hard enough time and its little things like this that add up to the stores loosing money and getting stricter.
In that case, feel free to take it up with the store manager who let me use it. And going by other comments here, doesn’t seem like he was the only one who matched the offers.

Just got back from CVS in Alexandria, VA. Both deals are still working, though the shaving cream is limit 2. Also, check the end caps in the store for the shaving cream. There was none on the shelf on the shaving cream aisle, but then on the endcap two aisles over, there was a big Shick razor and shaving cream display. All the shaving creams on the end cap had the $1.50 peelie too!
Just did 2 in Michigan and it worked – just the sensitive skin like posted. Very helpful information. My limit appeared to be 2. No peelies.
Just got back from CVS in Alamo, CA and it’s still working! Got 4 shaving gels and 1 more toothpaste (I got one toothpaste yesterday, so I’ve reached my limit) …and got $19 ECB!!….And the shaving gels all had $1.50 off peelies AND CVS was able to match the $2 off store coupon from Rite Aid….I got an AMAZING deal!!! Just worked in Starkville, MS. They were marked $3.99 each. I bought four and used a 20% off coupon to save $3.20, got back $16 ECB.

I bought the shave shick sensitive gel at 3:00 pm central time and the the limit is four. At least it was for me.
The shaving cream and toothpaste both just worked in Tracy, CA. The shaving cream all had 1.50 peelies, and I also bought the axe body spray 3/$13 and got $3 ecb for that. Used $4 off $20, and $16 in old ecb. I spent $12 cash and got $22 back!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I did first approach the manager at my local CVS about the Rite Aid coupons. I personally would never attempt coupon fraud and certainly did not mean to have people react in so many ways about taking a Rite Aid coupon.

Question – I signed up for CVS Beauty Club and they have sent me a 10% off coupon. I am wondering what exactly qualifies as a beauty product at CVS that this coupon can apply to. If I buy Carmex Lip Balms and Physicians’ Formula skincare items (both brands on major sales/ECB right now), will they qualify for the 10% off coupon? Thank you so much!

I’m not sure what the things that work for it either, the physicians formula sounds like it should but not sure about the carmex. As for you pre- or – post coupon question, it is the price of the item before any coupons are applied

Unethical people! I was just at CVS in Turlock on Geer yesterday getting a prescription fo r my daughter. I was abke to take advantage if the schick deal and a bunch of the cans had the coupons on them. Today that I came to pick up the second prescription all those same exact bottles had the coupons peeled off!!
Still working this morning. $4.29 each in Midlothian, VA. Forgot my coupon, but still a great deal.
