  It’s exactly that – a print (photo) printed on metal (usually aluminum I think). They look very cool – super shiny and the colors really pop.

   I just ordered mine, and am so excited to give it to my hubby for Father’s Day! I’m not sure if the code is unique, but if not, it was “SCOTTDEAL14” for the metal print. HTH!
