    • Allison

I have the same problem! I don’t understand how people get all of these store ones. I even called and asked. Maybe I will call again!

Got mine!! I used it on the Sally Hansen Gel Starter Kit-normally $29.99 took off $9.00 plus had $5.00 Mfg coupon and you get the free Gel nails usually $14.99!! Cvs also let me use a $5.00 off coupon on the Gel nails making the starter kit and nails only about $10.99 plus tax!! Had $10 in EB to use as well making this a great (and super cheap) mother’s day present for me!! woohoo!

    • Lucille

Where did you get the cp 5 off and free polish

      • kristen

The 5 off was in sunday 5/5 insert. not sure which one. the free gel polish is a cvs deal. you get it free when you buy the starter kit

    • Connie

Did you print the 30% or send to card? I sent mines to my card but the 30% didn’t prompt. I also wanted to get the SH gel kit.

      • Kristen

I printed it – it never seems to work right when i send to my card!

  4. Evelyn

I got $5 off $15 coupon today in my e-mail.

  5. nl

  7. Jess G.

I didn’t get that one. I got a $5 off of $15. It’s been a while since I’ve gotten one of these, so I’m excited!

  8. terezia

    Mine was a $6 off $30

  9. Crescent City Couponer

CVS coupons that read “Available through ___” usually expire 4 days from day printed. Printing the offer on May 12th should yield a coupon that expires on May 15th.

    • Rebe

Yes, I was about to point that out. I already used all the coupons for this week and the shelves are pretty bare by now, so I am definitely printing it Sunday and use it next week.

  10. fran

I got $6 off $30! Not as good as 30% off, but I’ll take it!

  11. Patti

wish I had this when I just bought my mother’s day cards….so expensive.
Mom’s are worth it, but boy what a rip off, even with my coupons!!

    • Kelly

I make the cards online with pictures, cheaper and more personalized.

    • Erin

Funny you should say that. Hubby came home with an expensive “extra postage required” card yesterday for his mom. He weighed it, and it was barely 1/8 oz. over first-class postage rates. He’s sure the postal service and Hallmark are in collusion. There was an unnecessary extra piece of cardstock in it that he trimmed down to get it under weight. :0 He’s pretty easygoing but he was so mad! So, yes, make your own cards. Storebought are expensive and typically have awful sentiments and card manufacturers are trying to surreptitiously “encourage” us to donate to the postal service by making ever-so-slightly overweight cards. Because who really is going to bother going to the post office and deal with that hassle just to weigh a card? Most people are just going to stick two first-class stamps on it!

      • tser

Erin, you really think Hallmark is in cohoots with the PO? wow…

        • Erin

I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but I’m sure there’s some relationship there, since it would benefit each of their interests–making money. Remember the days when square cards came with rectangular envelopes that didn’t require extra postage? Now all the envelopes are square, which do require extra postage. That’s not at all customer friendly, so why would Hallmark do that? Likewise, an eighth of an ounce over first-class postal rates? Clearly, they are aware that it requires extra postage since it’s right on the envelope. How easy would it be to simply remove the extra cardstock insert or reduce the amount of glitter or gemstones to nudge it under an ounce? They could if they wanted to, but they don’t. Why is that?

Also, if you look at Hallmark’s Facebook page, the Facebook page “Save the U.S. Postal Service by Writing More Letters” posts quite a bit. It claims not to be affiliated with the postal service, but it smacks of a marketing/promotional campaign, and, no surprise, it is liked by the big card companies. Seems like the card companies and the postal service have mutual interests, no? If the postal service goes under, what becomes of the card companies?

does anyone have an idea why one registered CVS card gets all the offers (or something very similar) emailed each week, while another CVS card gets absolutely nothing?

Mostly similar items are bought with each, with one being more male products & the other female. I emailed CVS, and they said I was on the email list for store offers, but I only receive online promotions that I have no interest in. I really would like to take full potential of my ECB tied to that card.

    • Kathy

I think it changes quarterly or yearly. I used to get coupons every week for the store. Then nothing for the longest time or only online coupons. Now I’m getting store coupons again… maybe has to do with your spending too?

    • jet

I have 2 cards one I got cvs coupons and % off all the time, but second card not get any coupon except the one that on weekly add. before is the other way around, so I emailed them and asked about that. now second card start to get % off coupon every weeks.

  13. Paul

I got the 30% off online only coupon. But, my mom’s card got the 30% off in-store coupon.

  14. Sarah Moran

Can you use it on CVS diapers?

    • Brandice

you can use the coupon on just about anything in the store that is NOT on sale…including the CVS brand diapers

  15. Crystal

I got the 30% off coupon this morning. Super excited to get it.

  16. Cherie

I got the 30% coupon, and i’m trying to get in the swing of this CVS thing. But I think I did ok today

    I bought 6 Hallmark cards totaling – $23.94
and 1 bottle of Curls conditioner – $12.29

I had a $3 off $12 for Shampoo/Conditioner, 30% off, 2 of the $2/3 Hallmark, 2 of the $3/3 Hallmark CVS coupons, and then 10ECB’s I used. Ended up paying $5.39 but got $10 ECB back. Would’ve been a little better if I hadn’t sent my $5 ECB to my card because that was taken off prior to the 30% coming off. I will learn not to send those to my card anymore.

  17. Jamie

I got $5/$15 and I just got another $5ECB for beauty club.. score!

  18. amber

If your’re using Extra Bucks to pay don’t expect much discount. I’d much rather have a $ off coupon than a % off.

  19. Conswalla

My 2nd trip to CVS this week.
Used 30% off coupon I received via email today:

    1 Skintimate Shave Gel
    2 Nivea Bodywash
    1 Dermasilk 1Min Eraser
    2 Always Pantiliners
    1 Aquafresh Double Pack
    2 CVS Shave Gel
    1 Loreal Advance Facial Cleanser
    1 Physician’s Formula Eye Shadow
    Total : $66.09

    Used:
    30% coupon
    ECB’s = $13.00
    Coupons (MQ’s & MCM) = $27.00

    Paid less than $1.00 OOP
    Rcvd $17.00 in ECB’s (Skintimate $2.00, Nivea $5.00 & Dermasilk $10.00)

    • GPY

Are the 2 ECBS from your Skintimate scenario a monthly deal? I don’t see it in my ad for this week

  20. Elky

When it says excludes “sales and promotional items” does that mean regular priced items that are on add to receive an ECB?

    • Seth

It works for regular priced items that produce ECB’s.

      • Kelly

How about for an item that is buy one get one 50% off?

        • spi_cy13

          Kelly,
The 30% off coupon would not work on items that are buy one get one 50% off. It’s considered “discounted”.

          • Kelly

            Okay, thank you!

  21. Roxana

i just print out mine and it has an expiration date for 5/14 yay!

  22. jet

I used it on Roc skin care, Eucerin, and 17 off sally Hanson today.

  23. P

    Hi Kelly or anyone else
Can you please help me with this. Last week I bought a bunch of things from CVS worth about $71,.3 I had Manufacturing coupons for about $23.99 and 1 CVS coupon of $2 off + the 30% CVS coupon. The cashier did not give me 30% off the total $71.3 instead he gave me 30% off ($71.3-$23.99-$2). I believe this is not right, correct? I shoudl get the 30% off of total $71.3.
What do you think- I am new with couponing & can use your advice.
