The gluten free carrot cake recipe on the Betty Crocker website is made with this yellow cake mix and it’s amazing. I’ve taken it to parties and no one knew it was gluten free and asked me for the recipe.

I do have to say these GF cake mixes and brownie mix are amazing…no one can tell they are GF ….can’t say the same for other brands.

I agree that these are some of the best GF mixes out there. I’ve made them all and was really happy with the consistency on the cookies and cakes. I came across them on sale at Target for $1 each so keep an eye out for that.

Does anyone know what ingredients do they use in lieu of regular flour? Is it artificial stuff, or something like coconut or rice flour?

At least for the devil’s food cake mix, they use rice flour. I use these mixes very often, and I am fairly certain all of them use rice flour.
