I would order from Walmart only because you have a longer return period or could get a warranty for very little extra money.
Can I use it to grind meat?
I have this food processor and it is great! I mostly use it to make applesauce and pearsauce but have also used it to make nut butter muffins, pumpkin pie, pureed squash, and pureed pumpkin.
I never thought to make pear sauce! Thanks for the idea!
Hi Christine,Have you ever used it for seeds like flax seeds?
No. I have some shelled sunflower seeds I could try for you if you think it would be the same results:)
if you have that would be great…if not don’t worry about it..I know that many of these processors don’t and I had to return them…thanks so much
I just tried it:) It ground the seeds to a course flour consistency after a few minutes. I did not see any big pieces of seeds. Hope this helps!
You are so sweet..thanks so much Christine.. I really appreciate it.
That is exactly what I needed…
Your welcome! Have a great evening:)
I just ordered one. Hope it’s good to mix dough. I make tortillas from groung wheat. I would appreciate it if any one who has it can weigh in on dough mixing capability.
We are gluten free over here so we don’t use wheat. I have mixed ingredients with coconut flour and also nut butters (cashew and almond) which can be kind of thick. It does have a lot of power. Hope this helps!
I have a HB food processor….i am canning applesauce..cut the apples and cook them…can i put them in my processor hot…will it make the applesauce too runny like mashed potatoes…?
