have this camera & love it! great deal!
Danielle, I am still undecided if I should purchase this camera after reading some reviews. Are the pictures really clear/sharp? …. some reviews stated blurriness due to slow speed and no image stabilization feature on it. Have you found this to be a problem? Any other information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!
The battery is a pain in the neck with this one since it is a proprietary battery. You have to plug it in to charge it and often if you don’t use the camera for a while the battery is dead. It would be much better if it took AA or AAA batteries. You can purchase after market extra batteries as spares, but for me it’s a major drawback to this camera
Wish it came in another color to get my son for Christmas
The description says the color is red, perfectly fine for a boy. The picture looks more raspberry/ pink, though doesn’t it?
We got this exact camera for our son’s birthday in February. It is NOT red. Raspberry is a good description of the color. We should have exchanged it for a different color at the time. It is not what I’d describe as “boy-friendly.”
Hi and Thank you for posting this. In addition to the lower price, they offered $50.00 off if you applied for an Amazon Visa Card. I got mine for $12.50 after tax.
I did applied for the amazon visa card also and got mine for $9 woo hoo! Great Price for a camera for sure!
wow
when do kids start using cameras? my daughter is seven…
My Grandaughter is 7 and has one and loves taking pictures of everyone.
My son is 3 & we got him a little digital camera on clearance that he LOVES. He takes some pretty good photos sometimes too 🙂
Wow I just got the amazon visa card and got this camera for 9.99. I am so happy. Thanks for posting
Where are you finding the $50 promo for the Visa card? If I go through the “cart”, my offer is $10 off if I apply for the card.
Just google search “amazon visa $50 gift” and it’ll give you that promo amount. I just did it and paid $14 after tax!
It’s 89$ now:(
It’s still showing up as $59 when I go to Amazon.com and click on “today’s deals” near the top of the screen.
I had put it in my cart and it still shows $59. Do you think it will go up when I go to place the order? I opened Amazon on a 2nd tab to look for something else and when I went to my cart, it still shows $59 and also showed the $50 credit for the Visa. Before it was only showing $30. Can you cancel that credit card right away? My husband doesn’t like to do this type of thing or have multiple credit cards. He would probably say to not do it if I told him about that.
just asked him and he said not to do it, that it ruins your credit rating to have all kinds of credit cards, even if you cancel them. Is that true?
When you open a credit card, they look at your credit report and that puts a “hard inquiry” onto your credit report for 2 years. The more hard inquiries you have, the lower your score because it shows a lack of consistency in credit history.
Got it, Thanks!!
