You buy it from zales .com

  2. Jodi

Just bought my moms Christmas present!! Love it!!

  3. Andrea

If you are considering maybe read the comments from the previous offers. Not everyone was happy. I tried to take mine to a pawn shop to avoid the return shipping charge and they told me it was worth $2. That was a different model than what’s shown above though.

Thank you so much, Andrea. I looked at the old reviews and it seems an overwhelming amount of people were not pleased with the item or service, so I am going to stay away. I was getting excited too, I need a nice gift for my brothers new wife on his wedding day 🙁

    • Shanshan

Wasn’t happy with the one they offered last year “infinity” so I have no high hope for this one. I know you get what you paid for. But why oh why is Zales doing this again? To ruin their reputation? The stock photo online look great but when you get it, WHOA no way I’m giving away for X’mas present. I returned them all.

I bought this necklace last year when it was on sale for the same price. I picked it up in the store. The pendent is quite small but I wear it occasionally.

    • Sarah

Could you say how small… pea size, dime size, something like that?

      • Elizabeth

The pic on zales.com has a ruler beside it….

      • Conswalla

Less than dime size and it just looks cheap. I wore it twice since last December. It’s not an attractive piece.

  5. Amie

I purchased an infinity one in December for the same price (19.99 down from 120) and it is beautiful. I purchased this one for my mom with no hesitation. I’m sure it will be lovely and happily received.

    • Sarah

The infinity one from Christmas didn’t have diamond (chips) all the way around. I returned mine because they basically tricked me into believing the sparkle was from diamonds when it was just small polished metal tiny knob-like balls. Some were diamond chips, most were not.

      • Ann

Totally agree… will never buy one of these cheap deals again. Mine is still in my closet… was too embarrassed to give away.

      • amy

yes u r right Sarah, last year i bought one(same kind of offer) not all r diamond … few r diamond n most r small shiny ball… 🙁 waste of money

      • ihearthip

that’s called pave- I used to work in jewelry. Although you might have expected different, it’s a common thing in jewelry and does provide a good shine. No one would think it cheap.

        • Sarah

I found this definition of pave: “Pave settings are made up of lots of small gemstones, often diamonds, set closely together. The gems are separated and held in place by little beads of the setting metal. The result is what looks like a continuous surface of diamonds or other gems.” and “2. Jewelry. a setting of stones placed close together so as to show no metal between them. ” I am not someone who has ever worked in jewelry, but using these definitions only, that is not what I saw with the infinity one from December. They had the metal knobs holding them in, yes, but they also had metal knobs holing in the polished shiny tiny balls to make people think they were a stone. All you have to do is look closely and you can see straight away they’re not diamond (chips). It’s junk.

Keep your expectations in check and carefully read the size info, and you won’t be disappointed. If you are expecting a $120 piece (whether to resell or impress a gift recipient with the big bucks spent), you’ll be sorely disappointed. As with all chain store jewelry stores, prices are inflated and quality is lacking. That said, if you look at it as an inexpensive costume piece, you won’t be disappointed (if you like the design, of course). I bought the black/white accent knot pendant, and I thought it was quite nice for $20. I don’t like huge, garish pieces, and it was small and subtle. The chain was terribly thin and already broke, but honestly, I really only wanted it for the pendant. I would reorder in heartbeat except I don’t care for the subsequent designs offered. The accent knot pendant had a lovely shape and the two-tone diamonds added interest in my opinion.

I bought a couple of these $19.99 Zales necklaces in a previous offer. I wouldn’t ever buy one again. Zales is definitely making money on these necklaces. They’re not worth much.

I haven’t bought this, but I may as I hate it when my wife purchases plastic, tin, etc junk that’s labeled “jewelry” … my theory is that she and other women will open up their jewelry boxes one day and have in essence nothing. I always prefer to buy for her for that reason … real silver, gold, semi-precious, etc so that money is not just thrown away.
I am also a semi-precious metal trader and I have to say that even if this weighs in at 1/2 troy ounce (15+ grams) and is sterling silver (92.5% solid silver), then with current market price you would have at least $10 melt here. So, in my opinion, this would be a decent buy. I will purchase one and let you all know after I test it. I suppose the thing that would change its overall value the most is if the chain was not sterling silver.

By the way, Shop At Home also is offering 4% cash back at Zales!

        • jody

wow thank you D…if you would, I would like to know what you think about the value of this offer after you get it? you can write my email down and email me at JLillyT@hotmail.com if you would be so kind to let me know? If you don’t want to bother with it that’s ok too 🙂 this way I will know what Zales is up to for future offers like this 😉 thanks!!

          • Sarah

There are far more negative reviews on “deals” like this one from Zales then positive. Just sayin’

            • D

Not a problem Jody, I will let you know … I can tell you this much though, it’s not worth $119 or what ever the full retail price is. I ordered it last night, so I will let you know when it comes in.

              -D

I bought something like this before and it was terrible. I ended up returning it and it was difficult and took forever and several phone calls for me to get my money.

  8. Diane

I bought the Infinity necklace last December, and I thought is was very pretty for the price, although I would never have paid the regular price. I just ordered this one for my sister as a Christmas gift.

  9. Dawn

I bought one for my daughter for Christmas, and while the shape and size were correct, it looked so cheap! I doesn’t look at all like that beautiful picture. It looks like a $5 necklace and the chain broke within a day. Never again.

  10. Hilary

I bought two of the sale Zale’s necklaces last year and they were pitiful. I gave them as gifts to two teenagers and ended up getting them gift cards also because I was embarrassed by the necklaces. Never again will I purchase from Zale’s.
