I was in the first 5000 on 4 of the 5 days last year and the only item I actually received was on the day that I wasn’t able to enter. Go figure. I guess last year there was a lot of glitches in their system, so hopefully this year there isn’t. 🙂

If you got the Thank you & then the message about entering for the gift cards, I think you got one. After I got that for me, I tried to enter for my aunt & it said that the last ones were given away during my form submission but I could still enter for the gift cards. Last year I got 3 of the 5 giveaways for this. In fact they ended up sending me 3 razors for the 1 day – I’ll accept a glitch like that!
It wouldn’t give me anything to click to signup! I got to the site…but that’s as far as it would let me go. Any suggestions for the next ones how to sign up?
I didn’t get the gone message so I must have received one. Awesome! When it counted down to zero, the enter button appeared. I did not have to refresh and wait for the page to load again. I hope that advice helps someone else get something next week!

After only 4 minutes they were all gone.
I personally dislike these offers–“be one of the first 500”– as the products are gone within a minute or so, the page freezes or does not load due to heavy traffic. I prefer a lottery system–allow people to request the product or sample within a certain timeframe and then, from the entries, the company/sponsor picks 500 or 1000 or 5000. I have given up trying to be one of the “first”. It is an exercise in frustration and futility and I cannot help feel a bit resentful of the product–yes, it’s strange and unreasonable but that is the taste that is left in my mouth.

this is off topic but thought i would post it here to see if anyone knows about that free leash offer awhile back. it was a few months ago. i forgot what it was for but i think the leash was orange. where was that from and has anyone gotten theres?
I believe it was from Weight Watchers, and yes I got mine months ago. If it’s the same one I’m thinking of, it came with a pedometer.
