You are taking advantage of the promotion! This is a generous offer meant for one a person. Doing things like this is what gets orders canceled in the first place. My total order of the four items I put in my cart was 79$ I used the one time 20$ off promotion for a total of 59$ shipped. It isn’t fair for you to be doing things like this. Earlier this code was taken away because of people like you abusing it. This left others without the opportunity to even use it one time.
Not saying I agree or disagree with you but how is that any different than ordering coupons online or buying 10 papers at the dollar store to go to Walmart to buy items to get overage. At least with online ordering a online coupon code can be shut down when they have met their limits.

Are you perfect? Have you never done anything you “shouldn’t”? If some people want to use a coupon more than once it’s not that big of a deal, there are much bigger problems in the world.

I think it is interesting that people take it upon themselves to decide what the company’s intentions are when putting out online codes. In my opinion, they have a large amount of unattractive items that need to be liquidated. This might help that problem and possibly attract new customers. If they are willing to ship multiple orders to one house that used many codes, then that is their prerogative. Relax.
I always wonder about companies’ motives with promo like this or all the free magazine subscriptions! I never thought about them wanting to just get rid of items. I guess they probably think some people will buy more than the $20 and make a little money of that.

I think we get the free magazine subscriptions because in order for businesses to advertise in them the circulation rate probably has to be really high to be worth putting in the ad which I’m sure they pay dearly for. If the magazine can up the amount of subscriptions then they probably can get more advertisers. That’s my guess.

Thank you! I placed several orders, 3 in total in order to receive 5 shirts for only $20! I am sorry to people that are having problems but anyone that says by using the code multiple times I was ruining it for others is just being petty. I created an account and used it every time for my orders, if the company wanted to they could limit it. Now if I had to create a new account each time to get around limitations I would call that abusing a good deal. If I buy a shirt at a store for 1.97 marked down from $60 and I take the last large in all the colors I am sorry you came behind me and missed out but I am not ripping anyone off, I am taking advantage of a great deal that I will use same as you would have if you had been there first.

Last night when I ordered the price went back up when I got to the final page. I did the online customer service and she told me to remove the code and add it again and it worked just fine. On my shipping notice it says $1.22. (plus the $5 shipping) I got a sweater and a tank top for $6.22.

I couldn’t sit down and place an order until 11pm last night and the code worked! All the good stuff must be gone though. It was hard to find anything even worth $5 plus I ruled out anything with a plunging v-neck and that really brought down my choices. Probably 99% of the stuff left had low cut v-necks.
This appears to be a new venture of Talbot’s, I guess that’s why they did the promo.

I just realized that I never got the sandals I ordered but I AM getting junk mail. So, I went in to check my order status and saw that it said CANCELLED. They never notified me.
