I’ve never seen them in the store, but my local grocery store has the Perdue oven ready roasters, usually they’re around $12.
I found these at Wal-Mart in a floor freezer in the meat dept, priced for around $11-$13 in Glen Burnie, MD.
I think my local Target (Omaha) sells these for around $11, but they will probably be on sale soon.
Oh, and Swagbucks has this coupon too. I used 90210
They are awesome! Freezer to oven to table in approx. 4 hours! Moist and seasoned just right! Simple remove the outer bag, cut a few slits on top of inner (cooking) bag, place in roasting pan, and into your preheated oven! Enjoy! :0)
normally, it’s $3.62 per lb at Walmart.
But has anyone tried this product? Is it good?
I found a small turkey breast in my local Walmart. It was $9, so scored it for $6. I actually cooked it last night. It comes wrapped in a heat resistant plastic. I was able to cook it in the crock pot with no mess. Took it about 5 hrs. on high.
These are $2.28 a pound in Savannah Georgia
How good is this product?
I’ve bought the turkey breast before and it was delicious! Super easy to cook and clean up too!
These Jennie-O turkey breasts are really good! You can usually find them in the meat department floor freezers at WalMart!
That’s great to hear! ๐ I’ll have to look for them next time I’m at Walmart…
I only have a regular walmart. But my grocery stores sells the Jennie-O turkeys and I buy them about every other week. I put them in the crock pot for about 6 hrs and they are so delicious and juicy– they even come with the gravy. Sells for about $11 at our grocery.
Just like Nicole, we have Perdue rather than Jennie-o, unless it’s one of the 2 mom and pop’s stores I haven’t checked. But, the Perdue clued me in on a general price range, and $12-$3 is still too much for me to pay when a 13lb birdie cost me $12 at Kroger.
I’ve bought these at Food Lion. They are very good and very easy!
I get these all the time at my local Food 4 Less. They’re like $10 and some change. I bought one last month with the same coupon. They’re good and easy to make. You just cook it in the inner bag and they don’t have to cook as long as a whole turkey.
