What if you already have your American Express registered with amazon?

    • elise

Try deleting it and re-adding it?

    • sometimessewist

You have to register your card with Amex Sync to add the Amazon offer to your account. You don’t register anything with Amazon itself.

      • esmeralda

        okay Thank you girls!

    • Marge

Click on the link and enter your information, it should probably take since the form in the link registers your card for this special offer. Also, after you register you can sync your card for additional offers, I do not believe you have to sync your card to your social media sites in order to get this offer.

I actually made purchases this morning from Amazon without the knowledge of this deal. I just registered my AMEX, will my purchases this morning be included?

    • Eroica

Unfortunately not. Your card has to be registered before you purchase. I’ve been doing these amex offers for quite a while.

  3. Emily

    Serve card counts too!!

    • Andrea

Do they really?!? My mom wants a kindle paperwhite 3g?

  4. julie

I just logged onto my AMX account and added the offer from there. Thanks for the heads up, Collin!

    • Tan

how did you do that? I searched and could not find it. Thanks in advance!

  5. paula

I logged into my American Express account online and clicked on offers and added it there. There were other offers under my account also for Walmart, Jc Penny, Best Buy and much more. So glad this was posted because I was unaware of these promos. Thank You!

    • kelly

how did you get to these offers? I tried to look for it, but I dont see it. how did you get there? Thanks in advanced!

      • Diane

Kelly, Scroll down your AMEX account page about 1/2 way look on the center right for a tab labeled Offers For You. All your offers are there.Ii receive and email from AMEX shortly after each purchase confirming my statement credit. HTH

    • Lisa K.

Yes I have noticed a lot of great deals show up for my AMEX card lately. I used one for Staples to do some black Friday shopping that was $25 off a $75 purchase and that made for a sweet deal on a printer I was going to buy already. 🙂

  6. Marge

Thanks Collin! I registered for the Amex $10 small business credit and this one is better yet.

  7. Jen

Do you know if you can buy amazon giftcards with this deal? Thanks!

    • Jac

Yep, according to slickdeals you can!

  8. Jac

If you don’t see the offer in your account and/or don’t have twitter, you can register each unique Amex card here: https://enroll.amexnetwork.com/US/en/Amazon/

Authorized users, as long as their card number is unique, can also register!

  9. heidi

Can we buy a $75 amazon gift card and get the $25 credit back on it?

  10. Lynn

    QUESTION:
Does anyone know if we can use both cards under the same account (but have a different American Express number/the last few numbers are different) for this offer (so get two of these offers)????
Under the Thank You for Registering box, it states in small print:

Please note that this registered Card number is the only Card that can receive the offer. Any other eligible Cards (including those linked to the same account) must be registered separately.

    • Mer

Yes you can. But each card needs to be registered separately

  11. Elly

Does anyone know if it has to be in one purchase or multiple purchase adding to $75 qualify?

  12. Kelly

Does it have to be on one purchase or can it be several purchases that add up to $75?

    • Heather C.

Looks like from Collin’s caption (words under the Amazon pic) that it says “a total of $75 or more…”, so it sounds like you can do it over a period of time.

    • Beth

I called Amex and according to the lady on the phone it could be multiple purchases.

      • Barnacle

        Good to know, thanks!!

        • sweet

I was wondering the same thing. Thanks!

  13. heidi

So you don’t have to spend it all in one transaction? Just total over the time period? Or am I misunderstanding it?

  14. Shannon

My hubby and I each did the BP gas deal recently and it was so easy and got the credit quickly. Will sync this one too in case we make purchase on Amazon

  15. Marge

This is a portion of the offer terms showing at the bottom of the registration form:

To redeem this offer, you must register any eligible American Express Card on this page between 12/1/13 and 12/31/13. You may register more than one Card for this offer, but only those Cards you register individually will be eligible for the offer. Using your registered Card, you must spend a total of $75 or more online at Amazon by 12/31/2013. Offer enrollment is limited. Limit 1 statement credit per American Express Card across all American Express offer channels. Offer valid only for purchases online at Amazon; not valid at any non-US or non-English versions of Amazon or websites affiliated with or linked to Amazon. If you order an item during the offer period but it is not sent to you until after 12/31/13, it may not count towards determining whether your purchase qualifies.

Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from the merchant until all of the items from your qualifying purchase have been provided or shipped by the merchant.

Just ordered 4 pairs of Skechers shoes using promo code CMSHOE30. One pair for my husband and 3 for my daughter for $100 plus I’ll get $25 back for using my Amex. Four pairs of shoes for $75 (at regular price it would have been $230ish)! Awesome deal!

  17. Jen

My Macy’s card is an American Express. Do you think that will work?

    • irene

It worked for small business Saturday!

  18. Lauren

Just ordered the Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo. After the AMEX discount and a $5 promo code, it will be $63.70 (regulary $93.70) and I get a free $35 Amazon gift card! I love this site!

  19. Sree

Can I split the purchase amount to pay with 2 credit cards on amazon?

  20. April

I registered and bought something for 75, but I now see it is sold by a third party and not amazon. Do you think it will still qualify? I did make my purchase at amazon.com.

    • Jody

No credit if its a 3rd party. I made that mistake…Cant even figure out how to tell who qualifies and who doesnt.

  21. Mini

Does anyone know if I can I register an AMEX gift card credit card?

  22. Jody

Be very careful. They get you to order and odds are it will be a 3rd party and you wont get the credit… Just found out the hard way…

  23. teri

I would order 1 item or a amazon gift card because I ordered multiple items on the same transaction totalling $75, BUT later realized they only bill when shipped. …so my card will be billed for 2 separate transactions since my items shipped separately. Ugg. I don’t think they will count this. 🙁

    • Eroica

Hi Teri, I just had this happen to me today. I bought 2 Texas roadhouse gc’s and one amazon gc for total 75. For some reason, Amazon split them into 2 orders. I cancelled it immediately upon seeing the 2 pending charges on my amex. I guess I’ll go back to ordering a 75 amazon gc.

    • Amy

I placed multiple orders, ranging from $10-$40, from a variety of different sellers. All charges show up on my statement as “AMAZON” and I already got my $25 on my statement! So you don’t have to place it all in one order AND you CAN order from 3rd party as long as it’s still processed through the Amazon website! Yahoo!

  24. valerisinpa

Tried registering today and it says the campaign is over 🙁

  25. Helen

This was great! My credit already posted to my cc account. It doesn’t matter if the charges are broken up because Amazon always breaks up single orders/ charges when the items ship. Mine was charged at different times, included a pre-order item etc, but worked as soon as everything was processed and shipped out!
