Toys r us has some DS games buy one get one for 3.99
My son wants one of these, is this a good deal compared to what they were selling for on black friday? Not sure if I should keep waiting for a better deal or get this now. Any opinions?

This is what my son paid for his regular-sized 3DS a few months ago, so I’d call it a good idea. I’d snap it up! (Also, my son can never, ever see this deal, or he will be devastated that he could get a Luigi 3DS XL for this price!)

I purchased my son a 3DS and game bundle for his birthday for $149 from Target – I searched for a couple of weeks and it seemed like the best price. I think on Black Friday they were $149 as well. I don’t know how old your son is; mine is five and honestly he would have liked the 2DS just as well (on sale for $99 Black Friday, I got one for my brother). We don’t really even use the “3D” feature.

If anyone shopped at Target for Black friday – They were offering a 20% off coupon valid in store only for every $75 spent. I just called the store and the manager says that the coupon would qualify for this purchase. If you have a Target Card – an additional 5% would be discounted! – Target.com has this for $199.00 – after the discounts – should be $151.xx !!
I also got a few gift cards on Black Friday.. making this an EXCELLENT deal!
I was just at my local Target and this worked. The 20% excludes video GAMES of any sort and only the consoles for the new Playstation & XBox. I also used it on a lot of Virgin Mobile Airtime cards.
I originally ordered the Zelda bundle, but I’m going to return that set and I just purchased this one …. my little guy is 7 and he would appreciate Mario & Luigi a lot more than Zelda! Thanks Colin!
