This is a good post to ask this, does anyone have a recommendation for a printer that’s compatible with iPads? Currently, I’ve got a Kodak, but it doesn’t work with airprint.

  2. Dorothy

The cost in ink for this would not necessarily make this a good deal.

    • Lynn

      How do you determine that?

      • Liz

Im not the original poster but i moved from a HP printer to a laser BW printer last year and OMG the savings in ink alone makes it worth the cost..i buy generic ink from amazon for $15 and it lasted me 8-9 months….i paid $100 for my printer..i think i have already got the returns.

          Thanks Liz

I agree with Dorothy and Liz; I have a Brother HL-2140 (current model HL-2240) that I bought on sale for $49 in 2010. The high volume toner cartridge lasts a year or longer and costs between $11 & 14 on Amazon.

HP work with iPads and iPhones without you doing anything it will just connect directly to the printer.
Also you can print directly to coupons.com so you can print more copies, if you have an iPad, iPhone and desktop you can print 6 coupons in total. Each device allows you to print 2.

How do you print from your ipad or iphone? I’ve tried and can’t figure it out. I have an HP eprint printer

You’ll have to look for an icon that looks like a rectangle with an arrow int eh center pointing up. and then select -Print- and the bottom. Hard to explain in text…heh…but this is a good reference link: https://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356

        • Crescent City Couponer

The link KSavage provided is Apple’s official list of compatible printers.

Your ISP may provide AirPrint capability as well. I’m able to print what seems to be everything except coupons via WiFi using Netgear’s interface and Ready SHARE.

@Michelle, open up safari, to the left of the address bar there’s a square with an arrow pointing up, click on that, click on the print icon, click on select printer, and it will search for AirPrint Printers.

I can’t tell from the Office Max write up if this works wirelessly. I am looking for a way to print from my Android tablet. Does anyone know if this is wireless?

Looks like the ink for this is gonna run about 14.99 for black and 20.99 for tricolor.

I refill my own HP ink cartridges and I save a ton in $$ on ink. On YouTube they have videos on how to do it yourself.

After much research, I just got a hp3150 printer for 40.00 on a bf deal. It has wifi and eprint. Here’s the cool part, if u have any Idevice like iphone or ipad, you can print 4 coupons per device . Yes u heard me. 4 per device by using 2 apps. Coupons. Com app and the grocery iq app. I haven’t however not figured out, how to print the coupons that Collin gives a link to and may be powered by coupons . Com, as they open in safari and says doesn’t support browser. Hth everyone.
