I don’t think its a bad deal if you need this stuff. I like their products at least what I have tried. This is similar to the Black Friday deals that they had as well as bath and body works and Yankee candle.

Well, if you spend $60, then use the 50% off code to get it down to $30, plus get the bag for $45, you’re saving $130 (maybe more if you got products at a sale price and then used the code) and spending $75. Seems like a pretty decent deal IF you know these are gifts you will use! Just my two cents 🙂

you may not want to spend the whole $75, but the code works for free shipping no matter how little you spend. So if you want just an item or two, it’s nice to have the 50% off and free shipping.
the small gifts dont qualify for an additional discount but are under $6 and free shipping, these are great for coworkers
I feel like all of their deals are the same. Things go on sale 50% off and then sometimes they are 40% off but why wouldn’t you just wait for the 50% off again? And I feel like the bag IS definitely a good deal but I don’t necessarily use all the stuff in it. So why wouldn’t I just buy only the stuff I use when it is 50% off plus nit have to spend $30 to earn the privilege to purchase it?
Sorry to rant but I just don’t usually feel like I’m getting a good deal at The Body Shop lately- except for the 4 weeks of deals. Now that was a darn good deal. Also the groupons paired with the 50% off sale- also a very good deal.
I’ve been wanting to buy some stuff here because I have the groupon. The groupon was no good on BF. =( I was going to buy some stuff online on BF but couldn’t check out, then I found out their website is only compatible with certain browsers. : / On BF I bought 4 sets of body wash & lotion & 6 large candles from BBW & $192 from YesToCarrots on their BF. So it’s a lot! What to do to maximize that groupon?
The store the other day had buy two get to free. The Groupon is only good in store.
I purchased the GIFT BAG during the Black Friday sale (the bag was $25 with a $30 purchase) and I love all the products in the bag. It was a great value I thought for $25 but I love The Body Shop products so it’s worth the money to me! The gift bag I got came with the full size Satsuma Body Butter and Body Polish, Camomile Makeup Remover, Coconut Oil, Full Size Cranberry Joy Shower Gel, Bar of Coconut Soap, Absinthe Purifying Hand Butter, Vitamin E Moisture Cream, a Bath Pouf and the nice bag so definitely worth the $25 bucks to me (since I had already planned to purchase other Body Shop products for Christmas).
I also purchased the gift bag during the black Friday sale but never received it. I received the rest of my order but not the $25 bag I bought. The packing slip said all items were shipped so I called and spoke with someone who said it would be coming in the next few days. It’s been quite awhile…When did u receive your bag Laurie and was it shipped separately?

Funny, I got my black Friday bag with my order. However, I also ordered this bag with the Jillian deal and got the few other items I ordered, but no bag and had to contact customer service to get my birthday credit applied to the order. About two months ago I ordered soaps and they charged me what I expected, but didn’t send all the soaps, because they said it was a pricing error on their website (not that I knew about it). I’m still bitter that they didn’t honor the price/quantity that was on the original order.
I can’t help but wonder if there have been some corporate changes or management changes, because not only are the quality of the products starting to decrease, but the customer service has gone from A+ to D- in one year. Am I the only one experiencing this? I have been a loyal customer for half my life, but am debating no longer shopping there… and I’ve always loved that I could get quality products for reasonable prices when they were on sale like this.
I ordered this recently for $35 without having to purchase anything else. Maybe if you are on the fence, wait and see if that deal comes up again…
The code only took off for shipping. I didn’t have any full price items in my cart, everything was on sale or clearance so it may only work on full price items.
I purchased the bag deal during black friday and also last week when Collin posted about this bag through Jillians Special. I must say that I am super super happy with my purchase. You are getting a lot for your money. My total was $57 – $5.70 (10% off for using their card) and also went through ebates and earned 10% cashback…… ……(-$5.13)…but again that was last week. $54.38 with tax.
There was no minimum to buy this bag but I added additional items to get free shipping. I added an additional Olive Body Butter and two Olive Shower Gel.
All FULL SIZE products !!!

I ordered this “deal” and received everything else on my order except for this bag and the items that go with it. (but it shows shipped and I was billed for it on the enclosed paperwork) . After waiting on hold almost 30 minutes last week for customer service I was told the bag and the items were separated and “will be delivered in 2 days”. This is day 3 so I should have received it by now per the CSR’s directions. I am typing this as I have now been on hold for 45 minutes. I will never order from this company again. Extremely poor customer service even though they are continually telling me how important my call is to them.
