My son (10) rode around in it at Toys R Us and really liked it. The back wheels spin 360 degrees, so it made it “funner” for him. I’d say the best age range is 5-8 though.
My boys each have one (6, 8, 11) and have had them for a couple years. Simply put: These.Are.AWESOME!! The kids love riding them, I love riding them, my mom loves riding them! They spin out when you lock up the pedal – a hilarious time. We LOVE ours! My niece will be the next one to find it under the tree – and I am sure she will love it just as much as we do!!
Thank you ladies for your response! Just ordered one for my boys and taking the Big Wheel back. This looks more fun for 5 and 6-yr-olds and will hopefully last them longer 🙂

We have 2 and it’s a very popular toy when the kids have friends over. I’ve ridden it before but I guess I’m getting old because I don’t like it once it starts spinning. The kids love it though.

The rip rider is awesome! Got it for my sons fifth birthday and he and his friends love it. At this price I might get one for my daughters too! My son is tall for his age and his legs are just long enough to ride it.
My twins are 5 and love it! But my older son is 10 and he and his friends think it is a blast also!
My kids (7 and 10) have both of these and they love them. The neighborhood kids love them too. When everyone is outside playing someone is always on the rip riders or power wing. We have had the power wing for several years and it is still going strong. The cushions on the handle bar are gone, but that doesn’t bother the kids. We got the rip riders last year for Christmas and they still work great too (both had the front decorative piece fall off though). Like I said these are used A LOT and they have held up great!
We love the powerwing I do home daycare and it is the first thing they all want to ride. Being the neighborhood hang out it is the first thing they come over to ride. The neighbor mom and I also take turns on it. Love the powerwing only bad thing is we have worn out the back wheels down to nothing and you can’t get replacement wheels anywhere. Time to get a new one!

The blue was only available for store pickup so I had to order the pink one to ship since we don’t have a walmart near us. It was $41.97 total with the 2.97 shipping, but this is an incredible deal, especially since it’s coming all the way to Japan (through APO).

These are totally WORTH the money.. LOVE THIS> my kids love it, nieces and nephews love it.. ages range from 3 (little too short for this still) all the way up to 12yrs. I would LOVE To ride this.. I am WAY too tall. Bummer. GREAT DEAL and TOTALLY a great buy
