And check out this email from reader, Ashley…

I was just at Target this morning, and I scanned some Green Mountain Pumpkin Spice k-cups, and they were ringing up $6.99 (reg $11.99). I assume the gingerbread is probably priced the same. These are still marked regular price but are apparently part of the holiday clearance. Paired with some coupons it makes for a pretty good deal.

(Thanks, Shannon, Ashley, Brandy, and Totally Target!)

Oh I hope my target has the kcups. I got the pumpkin ones at that price before it was “in season ” and thought it was pretty awesome!

    • Susie

Office Depot has them for the same price.

      • Darla

Not close to Office Depot:(. Just staples

  2. Evelyn

Anyone want to predict when it will go 90%??? My store went 70% on Sunday. I hope it goes tomorrow since hubby is home and can stay with the kiddos!!!! Lol

    • Brandi

Last year it went to 70% on Sun. Dec. 30 and 90% on Sat. Jan. 5, this year it went to 70% on Sun. Dec 29, and the Halloween clearance was also a day ahead of last year’s schedule. So you can probably set your calendar for Sat. Dec 4 for 90% off.

  3. Amber

Mine just barley went 70% and there is almost nothing left. I don’t think I’ll see 90% or atleast I haven’t in the past

  4. Sandra Collins

I was able to find the Elf on the Shelf apron set at 70% off yesterday and seasonal baby wipes 72 count for 47 cents. This is a great time to buy small stocking stuffer items for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.

  5. Ali

The had approx 25 Elf on the Shelf at the Stamford, CT target when I was there.

    • Cacamejl

Was elf on the shelf with books or Christmas?

Neat to see someone from Stamford on her, that’s where my boyfriend is from 🙂

  6. mel

I am soo surprised my store still had a pretty good selection at 70% off! It had been killing me not to go to Target this past wk, but I guess luck was on my side!! I snagged the last 3 Philips LED Multi Light sets for $3.59 each (reg $11.99)!! Found a few of the smaller rolls of wrapping paper for .30 (reg $1) and a larger roll for .75 (reg $2.50), Scotch Tape also .60 (but I totally forgot to use Cartwheel, I missed out on an extra 20%!) Oh and some gift tags for .90 (reg $3). I also spotted, but did not buy, Pillsbury Chocolate Peppermint Cookie Mix for .94.

  7. Courtney

no elf on the shelf in Sioux City, IA. but there was a decent amount of stuff left as of yesterday.

    • Vicki

I’ve never seen anyone post from Sioux city! Thanks for the heads up 🙂

  8. Erica

My store in Cali said they were not going any lower and if anything was left it was going to be donated to Goodwill. We should all keep a look out at our nearby Goodwill to see if anything has made in there yet hehe

    • sara

I normally get it cheaper at Target than GW. It’s nice that the profits to to GW, but from most of my experiences their prices are normally more than what it would be at target.

    • Aubrey

FYi they say that every year, but it always drops to 90%. I would check! 😉

      • Dayna

I agree, they always seem to say this each year about each holiday, and I have no clue why they do it. Maybe they don’t want to sell it at 90% off, but the employees act like the difference is coming out of their pocket or something!!

  9. NCErin

I found Chinet Cut Crystal cups for $.89 combined with the $1/1 coupons made them free! Also Arm and Hammer My Way Spinbrushes $1.50- I think there is a $1 coupon out but I didn’t have any. 🙁 Playdoh candy cane shaped containers of mini cans $1.49, used $1 coupon.

    • sara

Thanks for the heads up with the chinet! will go packing Qs tomorrow! Hope I can score! 🙂

I was at Target earlier in the day. Saw the workers moving the Xmas decorations. They were putting all the items into one area. Also noticed that the “back” of the 70% off sign had 90% on the back.
Talked to a bus driver about my finds today…and she told me that Target typically goes to 90% off on Jan 1…New Years Day. She’s been shopping for her Xmas deco for a few years…always on New Years Day. Stores open at 8am.

  11. Karen

Just got back from Target. Found some unmarked clearance: JR Watkins White Pine 16 oz pump hand soap was 2.39, reg. 7.99. It was in the Method section mixed in w/other soaps. It has a season’s greeting hang tag on the bottle. Also, got Solo kids cups w/tops .89 reg 2.99 that were in the regular plate/cup section mixed in w/other cups w/lids. I was hoping to find the holiday Method dish soap but no luck.

  12. Christi

If you get the kisses you can divide up the red and silver for Valentine’s day and the green for st. Patrick’s day. Makes for a cute teacher, babysitter or kids gifts.

  13. Sara

My target had the leap pad princess bundle for $65 and value was $190!!

  14. Mishelle

Today my Target had the Gold color value 60 count cutlery, snack plates and lunch plates, 2 tablecloths, luncheon and beverage napkins for .89 cents each. H
There were located on an end cap no sign

  15. Kimberly Russell

I learned from last year to look for the Tidy Cats Winter PIne scented kitty litter to be clearanced. It wasn’t marked but I scanned it and it was coming up 2.39 each. I bought all I could find which was about 5. I have two cats so it goes fast. These were 20 lb containers normally $7.99 but being a seasonal scent I guess they mark it down after Christmas.

    • Sarah

I bought 23 of these at my target! They looked at me like I was crazy but I have three cats and that’s an insane price!!! Used 4 $1/1 tidy cats too 🙂

  16. Jennifer

Am loving all of these hints if I ever make it to Target. In past years, there has also been a Colgate Winter/Christmas kid’s toothpaste that has been included in the Christmas clearance.

  17. Dino

No luck here in northern ca 😐

    • Pinki

I live in Sacramento. Last night I saw quite a few of the items mentioned at my two local Targets.

  18. Kim

I found size 3 holiday diapers for $2.08. We might need them in the summer but that’s fine. It’ll be a Christmas in July theme.

  19. ann

Anyone know if they price adjust clearance? I bought two elf on the shelf on Saturday for $15.

    • Casey

Depends on the cashier you get…some will let you return and rebuy, others will make you get one off the shelf, if it’s in stock.

    • Brittany

Ann, from what I have read, they won’t adjust clearance-but you could always call and check!

      • melissa

Mine will not price adj clearance purchases. If i find something i bought cheaper, I’ll buy it then return the 1st item the next time i go to target.

  20. vicki

I was at Target tonight and the DD gingerbread cookie and pumpkin spice are still the same price. No reductions yet. Last year I bought these items at $2.75.

  21. Karen

I found Planters Brittle nut medley (19.25 oz) limited edition for $3.49. It was unmarked sitting on the shelf with the other peanut products marked $6.99 – not sure if there’s coupons out for it but it is yummy!

    • Amy

I got this at Meijer for the same price it is yum! I got all my wrapping paper for .75 cents, some dog toys, chex mix and a 400 count roll of lights for the tree! Thanks ladies!

    • Dayna

This and the winter spice mix is sooooooooo good. I bought 1 of each when they were 30% off and was hoping there would be some at 50% off and there was!!

  22. LG

50% in So. Cal for M&M’s. We did this today on M&M regular, and peanut MM. They also had peppermint M&M’s, and pretzel M&M’s. roughly $2.50 for 3 bags

  23. k3llyb

found Glad plastic containers in red and green down to .89 today! Unmarked mixed with other stuff. Big containers too! Certain coffeemate and international delight creamers on clearance. Can’t bear to eat anymore peppermint stuff! Had to pass on the Chex Muddy Buddies and popcorn and lindt and girardelli chocolates…I’ve had my fair share of calories already, thanks. Pumpkin kcups were not ringing up on sale for me but the archer farms christmas blend was 1/2 off which I consider decent for trying a new thing. Found fruit snacks on an end cap but no hot cocoa granola bars for me. Still thought it was a decent assortment of things this late in the sale. It’s kind of like playing chicken. Don’t want to go too soon and pay too much but don’t want to go too late and everything is picked through or worse…packed up and gone.

  24. Cheryl

My Target store (Marlborough, MA -east-) said they aren’t going to do 90% this year. Very odd – Halloween went to 90%.

  25. Gina L.

I found one plush girl doll elf on the shelf for $3.88, wrapping paper for $1.50, holiday “joy” candle holders for $1.50 and much more!

  26. S

Am I the only one that finds a cleaned out seasonal section at the 50% off?? My stores are already down to the minimum not much for a variety after that…Stillwater, MN/ Hudson,WI

    • Ma24

No I’m in Chicago and if I don’t but it at 50 it will be gone. I never get anything for 70. Totally stinks

  27. Bekah

I found holiday tissue paper today in the men’s clothing section in Dayton, OH, thought that was odd. It priced checked at 70% off and some of it is neutral enough to use any time of year, so I bought a bunch of it. Betty Crocker cookie mixes were coming in at $1 off. The workers were consolidating stuff into one section in the holiday area when we were there.

  28. Darlena Webb

Burt’s Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate oil shelf price $2.99, rings up 89 cents, another lady showed me in Mayfield, Ohio

  29. Jannette raymond

Any one go to target today what is the percent off thanks

    • Christie

  30. diana
