I went the the Dillard’s in the galleria. I didn’t go to purses because it was the craziest section! Sorry!
Thank you for letting me know. I was thinking about going to Galleria, but now I think I will go to Memorial City. Galleria is always crazy though.

It was crazy, but I’m thinking not as crazy as Galleria. The purses were wiped out. They did have the boots/booties in the juniors section separate from the other shoes so that was nice, but the atual shoe section was a madhouse. Upstairs wasn’t as bad, but there weren’t that many clothes left that were on clearance. There were a lot of bras, underwear/shapewear, and robes/pjs on sale. I picked up 5 pairs of underwear for $12. The leftover Christmas section looked like a madhouse as well.
I think Memorial City and Willowbrook are the safest lol. I also ran into West Oaks Mall one day (didn’t even know that was a mall), and although it is small, it’s not as busy as the others and I don’t feel so antsy there.
The online shopping seems annoying. It makes you wait “in line” and once I finally got through, I clicked on a link to read more about the product and it redirected me BACK to the wait in line stage. Plus their shipping is a lot 🙁
How long did you have to wait before you got in?
I opened the page at like 12 am this morning, fell asleep, woke up at 7, and it still wasn’t clear. Then I tried again at 8am, and it took two hours. Went to click on the item, and it took me back to the waiting page.
Barton Creek Mall in Austin was INSANE! I did get two pairs of boots, ray ban sunglasses, earrings and leather stud bracelets for less than $200. Great deals to be had but be prepared 🙂
Online is so busy u can not shop until others checkout!
Went there as soon as it opened and it was seriously crazy. Worse than black Friday. I left with nothing, purses were gone in seconds. Literally.

I just got in from Dillard’s. I got 3 nike tennis shoes for my kids for $14.99. I also got 2 toddler nike shirts for $3.49 and a toddler nike jacket for $7.49. It was a madhouse but fun. The women’s shoe department was a mess. I just passed by. I’m close to New Orleans.
I went online at 1am and had to “wait my turn” to connect with the site. That was a weird message lol! I had several good bargains in my cart including some crocs slippers for $10 ea but I refused to pay $17 bucks for shipping! If I took out the 2 pr of crocs the shipping was $8.99 and I still refuse to pay that! I thought having an Amer Express Elite Dillards card that I would get free shipping but evidently not. I went to the store at 11 and got 5 plus size pj sets for $15 each. I didn’t think that was a great sale price but got them anyway. They had a sign that said “limit 6 handbags.” Lol

I was there about 15 minutes before they opened. It was very crowded. People rushed in as soon as the doors opened. I did not get what I really wanted, but I’m fine with it. All purchases were things I wanted. They have a few sale days like this during the year. During the year it’s an additional 40% off. Those sale days are not as crowded. I might apply for an American Express Dillard’s card because they allow card holders to shop one day early during the year.
I used to enjoy this sale but its not even worth the hassle anymore. The purses and watches were totally wiped out by the time I got there. I was there shortly after they opened.
Goodness, I didn’t think it would be that crazy. I may re-think going now lol. And the whole “waiting in line” to shop online seems silly!!
I visited the Dillard’s in Fairlawn, Ohio this morning. I got there right at 10 and it was packed… the shoe department looked like a Walking Dead hoard! There were some great deals though. Sperry’s for 40% off plus the additional 50%. Michael Kors bags and cute flats. I ended up getting a party dress, three cardigan sweaters, and two knit tops for $58 total. Infant toddler clothes were picked over and there wasn’t much men’s but I was still happy with what I found! I left about noon and the parking lot was filled to the last spot!
Got through the online site and bought a pair of Sperry shoes for $29.99 (+shipping). I had many Dillards gift cards that I needed to use, so I paid $0 out of pocket. Thank you 🙂

Dillard’s website drives me crazy! Online…”wait my place in line as others check out” seriously?! As big as they are they can’t get with the times and upgrade their servers! Understand the sale but other sites (Kohl’s) being one can handle the volume of sales. That is just not ok especially since they don’t offer any shipping deals. Blah….I just get so mad with them but still shop there, cause I love their stuff. LOL 🙂

Maybe I was just lucky or something, but I was able to check out without any problems or wait. I hate to pay $8.50 for shipping, but seeing as I am still in my pjs right now it’s worth not having to go into the store!
I had to “wait” in line to shop online but it was maybe 20 minutes. Found quite a few tops for great prices. Went to checkout and during that time 4 of the 14 tops I had selected were out of stock. I entered my card information and during that time another shirt went out of stock! Oh well ended up with quite a few cute tops anyways 🙂 I didn’t have too many problems. I think this was
minor compared to the in store horror stories I am hearing from all of you! 🙂
Went to Dillards on Monday. Gathered my favorite red tag items. Put them in the home goods bedding that was not on sale. Went to the store, crazy!! Got my items that no one had touched including 3 miss me jeans, 2mens rock revival jeans(didn’t even know that Dillards carried) michael kors purse and wallet and lots of boys polo clothes, and checked out!!! I was prepared !!! My husband was shocked by my bargains. I had him wait in the car and I was in and out in 15 min.
It was a mad house in Texarkana, TX. Got a $70 sweater for $12 and had to leave because it was so frustrating.

I went today and got several parfum gift sets for 50% off. I also got really cute converses for my kids for $14.99 a pair.
Last night, I had all items in my cart at midnight. I had to wait “in line” for 30 minutes but finally got to checkout. I got my 2 kids a new summer wardrobe . Then I got my infant daughter 13 winter outfits that are adorable for next year. All for under $200. This includes a pair of converses for my daughter for $20.
Totally worth the hassle.
I know, the girls at work were laughing at me on Tuesday. I called them today and they said they will follow my lead next year. They didn’t know how crazy the sale was ! Congrats on your deals
I just passed by the one in hattiesburg ms and wondered why it was crazy..because nobody ever goes there.. And now I know why!!
[TeeTee20005 and Paige,] I went to Oakwood Mall Dillards and although it was packed full of shoppers, my wait time was actually pretty good. I purchased a number of NIKE workout clothes for my hubby who has dropped a size and then some since he began walking with me in August. Hit the men’s section, the teen section, women’s better dresses and peeked in the home shop. I was able to get 15 Nike pieces and 7 dress shirts for my husband for about $300.

Went about 2pm to our NKY Dillards. They were busy restocking at that time (all the stuff the early shoppers threw to the side or they had more of in the back). Got 4- Dollie and me outfits for $12.00 each, a Christmas outfit and a 4th of July outfit for my daughter for next year $5.each, a pair of Sperry for my daughter $20, a pair of Ugg gym fur lined shoes for her $13! A dog purse for her $9, a bra for me $15. The check out ladies were telling us how crazy it was there at opening. The workers were super nice espically since they have to work from open till everything is folded and put away and ready for opening tomorrow! My sister and I had so much fun, we kept revisiting departments since everytime we went back there was more stuff put out/back. Will go next year again, but probably skip the 10am opening and go later like we did this year!
Just got home and it was crazy. We got the boys Under Amour tops from $3 to $7. We left after that. You couldn’t even get to shoes & purses and we were like 15th in line to check out. There were probably 25 people in line behind us. CRAZY!
It was pretty picked over by the time we got there. Short formal dresses were cheap though. Didnt buy anything.
I live near oakwood in gretna, La. I didn’t go because I thought it would be crazy. I wanted some new tennis shoes for myself.
Misty, it wasn’t so bad. I went in at 10:30, hit the sections and was out by 12:50, and that included trying on two dresses. Don’t know what it looked like after the noon crowd began to purchase. There were definitely some great deals.
It was hectic today in a SLC store but was able to get two fossil purses fairly cheap.
