My tween daughter really wanted a couple of tops with her Christmas Target gift cards. When we got to Target on Saturday, she’d discovered she’d forgotten one of them and could not afford to purchase all 3. I would not allow her to borrow from her sister or to loan her the money, as I was trying to teach her to be responsible. (She’s been irresponsible lately, forgetting things needed for school, etc.) I told her “everything happens for a reason!” Sure enough….between Saturday and Sunday (when I took her back to Target) the coupon came out, I printed two, and we (together, since it’s one per person) purchased the other 2 tops at a savings of $6.80. For a child who gets little more than that for allowance she was THRILLED that I made her wait :O) She loves to coupon with me, and this was a nice way to show that it pays off on some of the ‘bigger’ things too!!
what did you buy and how much did you pay?
She bought 2 Children’s long sleeve shirts (sweater “like) which were normally $17/ea. She saved $3.40 on each!

I was just at Target with my coupon and it didn’t take off the 20%. I asked the cashier to use it on my son’s winter coat for next year and she did it. Got a coat for $9.99! 🙂
Just got back from Target when I saw this post! I had bought kids clothing. Anyone know if they will honor it after the fact at customer service? If so is there a time limit?
If not, you could just buy it again in the store with the coupon and return it on the other receipt.
Yes, I’ve done a missed coupon. I try to get to the store within a few days. Not sure of the time frame.
There is a three day window on missed coupons

Unfortunately I don’t think it does, I tried to use it on a clearance dress from the infant/toddler section and the coupon didn’t ring through so I didn’t end up getting the deal 🙁
