Do u need a coupon to take in or what? TIA

    • emmy

      no coupon need it

  2. Anne

My guess is that you tell them you want the senior discount and they will check your I.D.

    • emmy

sometimes! if you look too young, will ask for check id

    • emmy

should ask for the discount, cashiers often do not know that today is senior day. one cashier asked another employee, today is senior day?

  3. janniesue51

I copy the page to show them because they totally don’t give you a discount unless you bring it to their attention.

  4. pam

If I shop online, how much do they charge you for shipping?

  5. Deb

Yeah, I’ll be sure to go right over to my local Walgreen’s, just as soon as the windchill gets above -38! LOL

    • daisy

Right?! Don’t you just love looking at all the instore deals posted that you can’t take advantage of lol. Where I’m at they finally lifted the state of emergency no driving order, but with this wind chill the roads are still too hazardous to drive on just for some good deals. I’m still kinda sad to be missing the end of the Christmas clearance tho 🙁

  6. Karen

Wouldn’t 15 percent off the remaing Christmas clearnance be great? I got 75 percent off some Nic chocolate covered pretzels a few days ago. I wonder if there are any left!

  7. Dino

I always take my mom with me to get the discount is that a good thing or bad thing? lol

  8. grace

What’s everyone getting w/ this discount?

  9. Mary

I usually get the water and vitamins stuff we need

  10. grace

My dad needs test strip… I’m traveling so I don’t have access to all the deals avail w this discount..anyone know how he can it for cheap

  11. John

Great, more discounts for seniors. Millenials are the ones needing the discounts not seniors. We have more young people living in poverty now than there were seniors living inproverty when Medicare was enacted. Wonder when companies are going to get it that senior discounts are not a good idea anymore!

    • Wendy

John, that’s not very nice. Remember the money that was paid into Social Security was instead put into general funds, If it had been invested in Social Security us seniors would be receiving double the amount we are now
As for Medicare it does not pay for many medical supplies I need
We only got a miserly 1,5% increase this month and I can assure you my monthly expenses went up way more than that
So, I say thank you to any company that can help me save a few dollars a month

      • Dianne

        Amen Wendy.

I was with my father today. We looked through the Christmas clearance and saw nothing good.
Wanted W cashew pieces but, it only comes in a bag now as opposed to the cannister.
Got the party peanuts 12 oz cannister for 1.99 and saved another .40 with his senior discount. 1.59 no tax. Not a bad deal.

  13. Liliana

I always forget and I am taking my aunt to buy her coffee. Do we have to hit $20 after 15% off senior day and any Qs to get RR?

    • Dianne

If you are talking about the Nestle Buy $20 then yes, you still have to hit the threshold at the $20 amount since the 15% discount is a store discount. But the good thing is you actually get more product for that $20 threshold, actually almost $4.00 more ($24 x 85% = $20.40)
