It’s been 75% off clearance in stores for a couple weeks now. Everything is pretty picked over, but I was still able to find 5 really cute shirts for about $5 a piece.
I had a few things in my cart totaling $26. Was so excited until they wanted to charge me $15 for shipping because I live in Alaska….those few small things would have cost them a few dollars to ship, or 11 for a priority box as a last resort. We get ripped off on shipping constantly up here. In the 4 years we have lived her we have had to spend over well over $1000 on shipping, it stinks…oh well. Hoping the sun will be up before 10am today 🙂
Beware, I just submitted an order with 2 pairs of shoes in my cart. Before clicking the submit button I checked and made sure they were the correct size and that they both were in stock. Once I submitted my order, on the auto-confirm message I was notified that only one pair was processed because the other was not in stock. Had I known this, I would have selected a different pair of shoes. Now I’m going to have to pay $6.95 in shipping twice because of their system mess up.
If you notify customer service about what happened they should be able.to reverse the shipping charges for you.
I did and that’s my hope. =-)
This was one of the worst online purchasing experiences of my life. I did call customer service, who was very nice, but I wasted 30 minutes of my life. I ordered 4 items, then, just after hitting purchase, was told that the two items that I really wanted were no longer in stock! I didn’t want to pay for shipping for the other two items. There was no easy way to cancel the order even minutes later. Their system should tell you that it’s not in stock BEFORE you pay during check-out, not seconds later! Beware!!
FYI, you can call your local store and ask for a free shipping code if they don’t have what you want in stores. I just got a code and it totally worked!!
