FYI–just because a bottle has a screw top, doesn’t mean it’s cheap. MANY wine enthusiasts know this. The price of cork has gone way up, which is why companies have started with the twist top instead of cork. I have a few bottles of all deliciousness price points (from 15-45 dollars) with twist tops.
So, I checked my credit card online after placing the order and I have 3 charges coming through from Naked wines. I only placed the order for $10.99. I see that charge but then there’s TWO other charges pending for $1.00 that say ADY*NakedWines.com monthl…I KNOW I did not sign up for the Angels monthly plan as I even got an email stating here’s $40 even though you did not become a member yet. I know sometimes companies run your card to see if it’s valid for $1.00 and then it drops off when they ship out your order and only charge the agreed amount. But why 2 of them? Since it’s Sunday and they are closed today, I sent an email to the customer service to verify I will only get charged the $10.99 that I authorized and ask why I they ran my credit card TWO other times!!! I’m not happy now about this. Extra work. Extra time. I hope they both drop off and it’s not another new fight. Anyone else see this???

Thank you! I’m sure they will take care if it. Just wish I didn’t have the extra steps. Also, both of the extra 2 were charges were for a $1.00 each. I did’t have a -$1.00 and $1.00 to cancel each other out. 3 charges and only the $10.99 is correct.
Hey Kerrie, you might want to check again on your statement online, mine shows 2 transactions of $1 as well but one of them has a minus(- 1.00) which means they credited it back to my account. Yours might be the same. Hope that helps.
if you read the fine print – since i can’t use the coupon it texas, it days that they will match it with a similar offer. i applied for the $50 GC, and when i entered the info on the naked wines site – it said that texas won’t allow the coupon to b used, but they would give me $50 credit – and they did! I got $50 off my order

From the email’s fine print:

I found this deal to be legit and at the same time it also appears that I have had the experience of being duped on The Krazy Coupon Ladies website today for a Spoonful Combo Starbucks/Shopping Credit(maybe not as I’m going to dispute this on Friday with my bank). It makes me feel good to have this website because I realize now this website actually posts the deals in the checkout that the person is getting.
