Love the video, as always, Collin! Does Kmart let customers match manufacturer coupons with their store/member coupons? I hate that they don’t have an actual coupon policy that customers can reference and/or print out for things like that.
I am so glad you liked the video! Unfortunately, Kmart does not have a coupon policy so the acceptance of manufacturer’s coupons with store coupons varies from store to store. I would ask the Manager/Customer Service Dept at your local store to find out how your specific store handles the use of multiple coupons.
this was my question too! Thanks Collin for the video. I just went to Kmart today and got lots of cute tops for $4-$7 using that extra 40% off clearance deal. Also snagged two very nice jewelry boxes (one for me and one for my daughter) with the same deal. I think I paid $12 for mine and $5 for my daughter’s. Something I had been wanting to get anyway. =)

Your Kmart & my Kmart must be very different! Everytime I try to get a deal there I end up standing in the checkout line for at least 20 minutes while they call over managers because their own coupons won’t scan! What a giant mess! And everytime I leave I say “I swear, I’m NEVER going back there again!”
I am so sorry to hear that – maybe I am spoiled here in Boise. I did not have any issues with coupons beeping.
I don’t go often either because of the long wait in line. My store is very short staffed and the last time I went I must have been in line at least 20 minutes!! And I say the same thing about not going back too. I was almost going to go get these good deals but I just went thru my paper I didn’t even get a Kmart ad this week! Maybe it’s a sign! lol
Yeah last time I went there I had a $3 off $15 purchase of theirs I got in my paper. Or wait was it get $5 in points after spending $15 yeah. It kept saying item not found when scanning. Luckily the person to help my cashier was only 20 feet away and ended up just giving me the amount off now rather than later in points.

Do you need to be a “member” of something at Kmart or can I just walk in a grab the ad and use the q’s on back? Also… can you use manufacturer q’s as well as the store q??

Thank you for posting this..I actually might step past the pickup location for my online purchases now, everytime I’ve tried to do instore purchases and I ask about shopyourway rewards or coupons they look at me like i’m from a foreign country and never know their own policies. I don’t think they can screw up their own sale ad coupons though..super excited to give it another try Thanks!

I get the same reactions/looks almost every time I do a Shop Your Way Rewards store pick-up where I want to pay at the store (so I can use any coupons I may have!) – and this is from the folk working in Customer Service, believe it or not! No matter how many times I’ve done this (same store, by the way…), they have yet to figure out how to handle these purchases. It would be funny, if it wasn’t so sad, LOL.
I did a COD p/u around Christmas. It was first thing in the morning so it was practically dead. First, they couldn’t find my order, even though I received a text confirmation that it was ready. So 10 minutes of waiting for that. Then the lady couldn’t figure out how to ring me up as cash payment. I stood in line for 30 minutes. I was about to just say forget it, when finally another lady came up and manually entered the items. BUT b/c I used SYW points that had expired the day before, they couldn’t apply it to the order. Even when I asked about price modifying everything $1 (it was only $3 in points), she said she couldn’t. So when I got home, I called SYW and complained. The rep apologized and said the cashiers have a black book at the CS desk on how to ring up CODs online orders. I said well, she flipped through that book page by page and there was not an instruction page. She gave me 5,000 pts, the $3 I lost plus $2 courtesy (which IMO, was not enough for 45 minutes of aggravation LOL)
I always love your videos! I have to say that those Kleenex cool touch tissues are amazing…when you have a cold, they feel so soft and gentle on your nose. I keep a box or two in my house at all times! 🙂

Thanks for mentioning this. I shopped at Kmart all the time when they doubled coupons for the past 2 years. (wish they would again!). I found it best to just have the ad with you in case any issues pop up. In this case, the cleaner should ring up free, but you never know.
I know lots of people don’t like Kmart, but I love it. I love the points. My store may not always know whats going on with coupons, but they’ve never argued with me and if you show them the coupon and the ad, they have always made it work. When they’ve messed up, they’ve given me gift cards to cover the amount of the screw up. I agree it could be cleaner, but its usually worth it for me.

So I went to to Kmart this morning and no catalina, nada! I live in NM. The promotion they have is spend $15 and get $3 off….I think is worth the price.
I watched the Kmart video & decided to go shopping! I purchased 2 Viva 6-packs @ the sale price w/in-store coupon & rcvd $3 in points instead of a printed coupon. I then took advantage of the additional 40% off winter clearance items & bought two 3-piece toddler boys outfits (two outfits for twin boys) that was original $24.99 for just $8.79 each. With a few other bargains in the beauty gift sets ($3.12 for a 6-piece shower/bath/lotion set) my total was $84.00…. but, that’s not the TOTAL…. because I spent $84.00 I received a coupon for $5.00 in SYW member points for spending $35.00 AND a coupon for $5.00 in SYW member points for spending over $80.00 AND I received a coupon for $.30 cents off per gallon of gas at Speedway. I looked at my receipt and I also received an additional $3.50 in SYW members points for spending over $10.00 in childrens clothing. Great shopping trip!
The toysrus website is awful. I ordered store pick up for the b1g1 free fisher price items, the confirmation said the second one(free item) is not available , so it was removed, and I will not be charged(ugg ofcourse).
So I ordered store pick up at different location, again the same message AFTER I placed my order, When I chat and called them to cancel, they couldnt bcos its a one hr service. So today I thought I could order different set of toys, again the same message.
They are just cheating to let us buy the first item and removing whatever you add as the free item. Now I have to go to 2 stores to pick up and return 3 orders.What a worst service.
