By the way, clicking on Colin’s link might prevent you from being able to get a sample. I get the emails, but I still hadn’t gotten one several hours after this was posted, so I tried Colin’s to see what would happen. The form was messed up and I didn’t get a confirmation message. When I finally got the email, I tried the link and got the weird looking form that I got when I tried Colin’s and, once again, no confirmation message. I’m not sure if it went through or not. I’ve never had problems before, so I’m not sure what happened.

If you have to use a link in your e-mail to get these offers, WHY DO YOU HAVE TO FILL OUT A FORM WITH YOUR NAME, ADDRESS, ETC. EVERY TIME FOR THEM? Why can’t they get that from your account info since you are using a specific link from an e-mail associated to your account, and you have to be a registered user to qualify for the offer or get the e-mail message for it. The answer is they probably could, but nobody has been smart enough to make it work that way yet. C’mon people, it’s 2014, use the technology we have available and automate where applicable.
Eventually they might but right now, mailing info isn’t in our accounts. Even so, this unique-link stuff is a relatively new development, probably in response to members who were consistently unable to redeem their offers before the link went viral. I’m sure they’d love to have our contact info, and if enough people suggest it, they might consider changing it.
