    • S

      Me too..!

    • Nandry

They are on sale 10/$10 making them $1 each. with the mega event going on this week, for every 5 participating items you buy, you get $5 off instantly. So If you buy 5 of the Izze drinks, you will get $5 off instantly making them free! 🙂

      • Mrs. W

The Izze deal did not work for me tonight in OH. I bought 10 and my total was $10 I went to the service desk and the guy said they aren’t ringing up right and said he would give me my money back and then when he saw that would make them free he said it’s not right. So I just returned them! 🙁 They must have fixed it in their system already!

        • Kris

It did work at my Ohio store tonight, but someone had ripped off the tag that said they were part of the promo

  2. Alicia

The Izze deal did not work here today in Barboursville, WV.

    • Jennifer

It didn’t work in IL either. Store manager says the $5 off 5 starts this Thurs. Messed up my Magnum Ice Cream purchase too. I was so bummed!

  3. Tori

will this work at Fred Meyer too? or just Kroger?

    • Rebecca

      I’m wondering this too

      • Jesse

        Me too! All Kroger affiliates?

  4. Ashley

Anyone actually able to get the Izze deal?

  5. Diana

Well all other items gave a breakdown of 3 different prices.. Somethings missing in izze prices..

  6. molly

The izze deal worked for me today! I bought 5 and they were free. Good luck!

  7. v

  9. Melissa Stone

  10. Jenni

    Hi,
Kroger in Atlanta has these 10/10 but not buy 5 save 5. I just went and bought 5 but nothing off. Paid 5 plus tax.

    • Bkny63

Hi. Probably because our march mega sale doesn’t start until Wednesday with the new ad.

  11. Jenn K

I was able to get 90 of the Izze… deal is dead now in most areas.

    • Em

      90 is a bit much…

      • An

Compared to 0 I would say way too much

    • Jess

Probably Why Its Dead Now. Thanks A Bunch! =)

      • Ash

You all need to get a life vs. complaining about what people buy or don’t buy. Only person you can control is yourself. Sometimes the coupon community feels like high school all over again.

        • An

Nobody is trying to control anyone. We just comment on a post. This post doesn’t sound like high school at all but like the survival of the fittest. While some take all the food others remain empty handed.

          • Ash

Like any sale items run out. There will be another deal and no one has any right to say this lady deserved or didn’t deserve 90 cans of izze. Coupon etiquette is bogus. I don’t understand why people feel entitled to a deal. If it is there when you get to the store great if not on to the next one.

            • SK

I bet you would be the first one to clear shelf when a deal comes along and/or call foul when you find an empty shelf…. no one feels entitled to anything…. it is about doing the RIGHT thing and yes maybe you do need to go back to high school and learn right from wrong… and you talk about entitlement….

            • An

The point is not that someone doesn’t deserve 90, but that everyone deserves to get some. Nobody is entitled to a deal but I would say if someone was feeling entitled they would be more correct than the one who feels entitled to clear the shelves of all stores in the area. Many times I have gone to a store for a great deal and stores associates have told me one person has bought all items and then add that person hit all other stores as well.

            • Ash

SK. Wow maybe you should stop attacking people? I was merely stating my opinion on the matter. Not everyone is going to think in exactly the same manner as you do. I just think people shouldn’t get so bent out of shape when someone gets in on a good deal and they ‘miss’ out. These deals come around frequently enough to enjoy the next time around. It is rather insulting to make such negative statements when no one knows this woman or the circumstances regarding her haul.

            • lizard

Ash, I agree with you on this. Sometimes I get the deal, sometimes I do not. Couponing, like life, has no guarantees. I am going to see if there are some today, but if there are not I will not hate the ones that got it, but hope for success next time and repeat my mantra, “Sometimes you get the deal, sometimes you don’t.” We all live with our own conscience. Happy couponing everyone.

        • Em

Everyone has an opinion, including you. I don’t think this sounds like high school at all. I think it’s great someone could get the deal more than a couple times but 90 seems ridiculous. Reminds me of the show Extreme Couponers…I’m amazed they can get so much and make money off of it, but why in the world do you need 100 boxes of cereal or 80 boxes of pasta??

          • Jill

I agree with Jess and Em!!!

    • Elise

This is not something I would brag about.

    • irene

      You killed Izze

    • Elizabeth

      90? Really?!? Wow

      • SK

I bet she is talking a bubble bath in it 😉 thanks to which none of us are going to get any…. the next thing you know she will respond saying she is going to “donate” all of that for a cause… yeah right!!! if all these people on these couple blogs really donated as much as they say they donate, there would be no hunger in this country or empty food banks!!!!!not saying everyone does it but i think some just fake it to justify greed.

        • brieanna

So i went to the store tonight hoping to get some izze but when i got to the store I rang one up just to see if they were on sale they came up for 10/10 not B5S5. I was very disappointed. There were about 40 on the shelf, and i was going to try and get them all. Who ever said “Sometimes you get the deal, and sometimes you dont.” is a very smart person. There will be a next deal, you cant always get a deal. sorry……… Being a shelf clearer is not a horrible thing to do. yes sometimes people can go over bored at times but i dont think that was the case on this deal…….HAPPY COUPONING…”SOMETIMES YOU GET THE DEAL AND SOMETIMES YOU DONT”

          • M.

Your not going to find out if the deal is B5S5 by scanning 1 bottle – Lol. 🙂

            • brieanna

yes you can. when an item is part of a B5S5 deal or any other deals like it, when you scan the item there will be a plus sign next to it like this… {+}… this means that the item is part of that sale. Its also how the cashiers know how many products you bought from that deal.

    • Thinkpinkgal

Whether it to jobs or food yes it is survival of the fittest! How do we know that she’s not donating these two homeless shelters? Ever think of that instead of being negative?

      • SK

yes she could, it still doesn’t justify buying 90…. since the lady right behind her might have been a single mom, trying to feed a family and would have loved to get a freebie as a treat.

      • An

Usually when people say I bought 90 they would mention if they are donating them. I just said that compared to 0 as many people will be getting 90 is a lot. I didn’t say anything negative. Just the truth. I doubt a person will drive to several stores to donate. Do you really think she is donating them? Better negative than ridiculous.

    • emily

Good for you Jenn. If my favorite drink came out in a smoking deal, I would get as many as possible too. Couple years ago I got like 3 cases of Tazo Tea Drinks because they were .25 cents each!

On another note, I agree that the people that always say “it’s so cheap I will get some to donate” should reconsider. Let other struggling families get in on the deal by not donating.

    • Sarh

Good for you! Let’s just say “Early Birds Catches The Worms!” Lol! Not my favorite drink so not a big deal for me.

    • Melissa

Who can say how many is too much. What if they bought 10 and the next person came & bought 150? I think you should be able to get what your family will use. We can’t “spread the wealth”. If a store wants to place limits on a sale then great but if you got there in time for a great deal & there are no limits, then you can take advantage of it!

      • An

And why are you trying to tell people what to say. If they are entitled to buy 150 in your opinion then they could say what is too much according to them. If 150 is just right according to you then fine. Why don’t you just say 150 or 90 are both fine instead of telling people what they can or can’t say.

  12. Jenni

    I agree..

  13. dropofrain

for the last two weeks our Smith’s had this awesome deal: buy 3 selected breakfast items, get free milk. The Eggo waffles were on sale 3/$5, plus a free gallon of milk- sweet!

    • K

thank you for reminding me! I have been meaning to go get those and tomorrow is the last day! plus I got $0.75/1 coupons from kelloggs.com and my store was printing $2 catalinas when you buy 3 kelloggs items, making them only $0.25 a piece PLUS Free milk! wahoo!

  14. Kate

I was told that the sales were not supposed torun concurrent & only VERY few regions actually got it going in their system. I ended up getting my usual deal on them 2/$1 which was fine w/me. I’m not a greedy hoarder as I find so many are w/these deals. And yes I have a right to speak my mind, that’s the #1 problem in this country everyone is SO scared to & offend somebody.

  15. Carlie

    90?? You rocked that deal!

    • SK

yup,… guess rocked it a bit too hard and toppled it over deep into the ocean…. never to be found again…

      • Shanna

You need a nap! Who in the hell cares how many she got! She maybe that single mom who is getting enough to last her kid or kids a few months. If your mad that she got that much, that’s your hang up, but no need to leave 100 rude comments and argue with every person who is not as upset as you are about it.

      • Valerie

SK – I don’t understand why you keep complaining on everyone’s comments if they say something about the 90 – If that’s what she wants and will use, good for her! The deal would have died either way because it wasn’t meant to be free, I’m almost sure.

        • Em

I think I started this by commenting “90 is a bit much”. I didn’t want a bunch of arguments. I can see both sides to this. I absolutely wouldn’t get mad that I couldn’t get a deal because, as others have said, sometimes you get them and sometimes you don’t. I just don’t understand why you would get so many is what I was trying to say. Again, everyone has their own opinion on what’s too much, but 90 is crazy to me.

She could be donating or has a large family and really needs to get that much for free. We don’t know so I think commenting that she is the reason the deal is no longer active is ridiculous. They would’ve realized their mistake sooner or later and taken it down. She got 90, yes ( which is too much in my opinion) but it would’ve been the same if 9 people had gotten there before and bought 10 each…so I don’t see a big deal here.

          =) happy couponing

  16. Carol

Does anyone know if Walmart will price match these Mega Deals? If so, do they count the items that are mixed and matched to make sure you buy 5?

    • sarah

Cant get mine to match “regular” sales let alone try this!

  17. steph

FYI, went this morning and this deal was pulled from my Kroger in the Columbus, Ohio area. They had a sign up saying it was an ad mistake and it had been pulled by corporate. Did get great deals though on the dial and honey bunches of oats.

  18. TS

The Izze deal worked today, somewhat. They only rang up the sale price of $1 but didn’t take off the extra $5. The tag was still up. After going back and forth with the cashier and another worker, I asked for a manager. We went to the aisle and looked at the tag and the manager agreed that they should be free b/c of the way it’s advertised. The worker removed the tag saying that it’s incorrect. This same worker made me feel as if I was wrong and didn’t know what I was talking about when in the end she was in the wrong. Customers aren’t always right but in most cases they are! This location was Ft mitchell, KY – which by the way is the worst Kroger I’ve ever been to. They are coupon haters.

  19. Becky

I don’t have the Triscuit deal on Checkout 51. Is it gone? Or is it not the same for everyone?

    • Michelle

It’s not the same for everyone. I didn’t get the Triscuit deal, either.

  20. Marissa

I really enjoy these comments!!! While getting a few free sodas would have been great, we are bound to miss out on deals and can only hope they come back around at some point. I can understand the idea of getting what you can when you can. But being upset that you didn’t get a truck load of free fizzy sugar drink that you probably have never bought in the past AND never thought about buying is really strange.

    • An

Who is being upset that he didn’t get a truck load of free fizzy sugar drink that they probably have never bought in the past AND never thought about buying? Your post is really “strange”. Do you know that the”upset” people have never bought Izze AND never thought of buying it? Is 90 a few? Has someone said I am upset? No.

  21. Jan

Sorry this i so long but I wanted to give all the detaileds. I went into Kroger twice this morning for the izzi drink deal 1st around 9:15 am then I went back around 10am. This is the reason why I made 2 trips. On trip # 1 I was unsuccessful didn’t get drinks and there was no $5.00 for $5.00 blue tag. Cashier also wasn’t nice she looked at me as if she was insulted after I told her about the deal I was supposed to get, so I left, hands empty no izze. I went home called customer service 2x because the first agent really wasn’t helpful she just put my zip in and said that deal wasn’t for my area, I know sometimes that might be the case, but from past experiences I’ve found that they do more than just look up the zip they are always so kind and even have offered to call my local store. So I said thank you to the first agent and couldn’t wait to get her off the phone so I could call back and get someone else. Well I called back to 1-888-553-3003 and the next cust serv agent took care of me, they called my store on Hicks Rd in North Chesterfield Va. spoke to the manager by the way his name is Brock if any of you are in my area, he confirmed that the izzi 10 for 10 plus $5.00 for $5.00 was available at my store so I went back and I received my free 5. Even recieved a few free additional items for my trouble. So don’t give up, call cust serv ask the name of cust serv agent let their super know how well they did, also get name of person agent talked to at your local store and ask for them when you go in. I have been successful doing this several times, I hope it works for you too!!!! By the way this works with many businesses if your disatisfied with a product or service just use the 800 number listed for the product or company. Whew!

  22. Maryjo

Not in va. Beach…no march, buy five get $5 signs, 🙁

  23. kath

Wow I was thinking that would be awesome to stock up on. My son sells drinks and popsicles after school to the kids (we live across from the school) and is saving the money for college. Hope I can get him some.

  24. Maryjo

Is a rain.check possible, and include $5 bk on it for the Izz drink?

  25. Jamie

There is a $1.00 back offer for dial body wash on IBOTTA- making them FREE with the kroger offer and coupon also. They have so many great cash back offers on things I am already buying anyways. Also, if you cash out using a new Venmo acct (like PayPal, without as many fees) they will add $5.00 to your balance. if you haven’t already signed up for IBOTTA u can use my link
    https://ibotta.com/r/YaDhA

  26. FishersMom

I didn’t get the Izze deal either. Only rang up 10 for $10. 😞

  27. wendy ann

when I tried to by the izze today it rang up 1.69 a bottle and no deal. Waterford mi

  28. Maezy

Wonder if we would need to do these in sets, or can we put all in one transaction even if we buy 15 items? tia

  29. Denise

The Cascadian cereal has a mail in rebate on it so you can 1 box for free once you do the rebate. 🙂

  30. Bard

I placed a special order of Izzy and noticed on the first day of the sale my Smiths had them priced at $1.25 each minus $1 on mega event, making them each .25 cents each. I was ok with that so I bought 15 (that’s all that was on the shelf) and placed another order for 30. Went to pick them up tonight and they had taken down the sign and they were $1.25 each – no mega event. Luckily the same cashier that rang me up on the first day remembered me and the price of .25, so the manager said he would honor the price this one time. I told him I would be find if they couldn’t honor the price, but the only reason I ordered 30 was for the .25 price. I don’t drink them they have waaayyy too much sugar, but they make great bribes for my Scout class to get the boys to wear their uniforms. I bring them a treat each week – usually candy bar and for .25 cents a izzy drink is a great incentive and about the same or cheaper than a candy bar or skittles. It’s nice to mix it up a bit with different treats!
