   I am a huge Clooney fan and was so disappointed with this movie. 🙁 My husband and I just rented it (for free from Redbox) the other day and we were not into it at all and I was glad it was free!

   I’m so glad others posted that they didn’t like this movie. My husband and I rented it a few weeks ago and I really can’t figure out what all the hype was about – I thought it was awful as well. I was mad we wasted 6 bucks for on demand rental. 🙂

   I thought the preview looked bad, but my husband wanted to see it, so for $1.07 at Redbox why not. Unfortunately I was right on this one. If you haven’t seen it, you might want to rent it before you waste money buying it.

   I saw all the Oscar nominated movies two consecutive Saturdays through a really cool program that AMC does every year. Even though Gravity didn’t appear to be “my type of movie”, it actually was my favorite out of all 9 of them! With that said, I think I really enjoyed it because it was on the big screen with 3D glasses. The cinematography was downright amazing, and the opening scene, from the establishing view of Earth to Dr. Stone detaching from the structure, is a single, continuous shot lasting about twelve and a half minutes. That is an impressive feat all by itself. I think the movie wouldn’t be as strong if you just rented it from Redbox or even bought it and watched it at home for the first time. It’s really one of those movies that needs to be seen at the movies to get the best experience!

    I saw this movie in IMAX 3D, & it was amazing because the special effects were really part of the movie experience. I plan on borrowing the video from my library because I don’t think it will as good.

    we only made it thru 45mins and we both gave in and shut it off, I was glad it was a redbox rental!!! I too would highly recommend that you rent this before buying!
