I spent about half an hour thrashing on this one. The “sign up for emails to get started” wouldn’t activate for me (on an iPad) and I burned some time answering a lot of questions that made no end, so I finally bailed. Sheesh.
I closed the page and clicked on the $5 coupon in the email. Low and behold, an orange box came up saying “Get Started Now”. Site is very slow………………..

There’s a free option, click “get started”, and a few questions.
If you keep reading, it should say “Or answer three poll questions…” or something similar. That’s what mine said.

Got msg sweep is under maintenance.
When I click on it it says it is under maintenance until 12 noon.
“Down for maintenance” is the message I received when trying to click the link…?

It worked fine for my just now, but after I read the rules it states that everyone will automatically get 5$ and then you are entered to see if you card is upped to 10$ or 15$. I don’t know if they hurried and changed this during their maintenance.

for some reason its giving the status of that sweep as not completed on the right hand side… is anyone else getting that? its giving an option to complete the 2 things either making a purchase of 50 or more or by doing the poll by clicking get started and its still saying not completed…. why?
Mine also said that my sweeps was not completed. After I checked my email the sweeps updated to complete. Hope that helps.

My understanding is that if you make a purchase in stores you’ll receive a physical card. If you get the card online, the number will be e-mailed to you. Checking the back is only if you have an actual card.

I got the email saying I have the $5. But there is no number in the email. I’ve read the official rules and everything but nothing talks about how to redeem the $5. If you get the card in stores it seems like a Reward Card you can redeem during certain dates. But online there is no card or number or anything. It’s just like a phantom $5 …
everyone gets excited over sears sad and pitiful deals all the time I just do not get it
I LOVE sears Jarod, I dont get these many freebies from any other store. If I would keep track of how often I get $3-10 dollars worth of rewards I am pretty sure they have saved me a couple hundred over the past couple of years. Also, when I go to the store to redeem them, I always find great clearance items! LOVE SEARS!

love sears and Kmart too. I just got $30+ toys at Kmart for $1.00-$2.00 each. Can’t even get toys that cheap at target during their toy clearance….and these were popular toys that are still selling for $20+ on Amazon/Walmart/target
Just in the last 30 days I got two bags of dehydrated manure for my garden for $5 instead of $24 (Sears), a free $11 spatula (Sears), free sweatpants (Sears), $60 worth of groceries for less than $20 (Kmart), 3 free fence posts (Kmart) and probably something else I’m forgetting. Last year I got a free toilet seat (Sears), better than free batteries (4 large packages at Kmart) and more garden supplies than I can count – probably half from Sears and half from Kmart.
Also, vitamins. $1 instead of $7. I was getting those on a regular basis, but now that Kmart isn’t doubling coupons it won’t be as often since I’ll have to wait for double coupon weeks.
Learning how to use the ShopYourWay program really pays off.
I’m guessing that once the sweeps or offer is over they will send the cards out.
