Went and got this and my Kroger freebie already. I have had to make this a Friday habit as I rarely shop at Kroger but will stop for freebies.

  2. Susie

    I Love Freebie Friday!
    Thanks Saving Star!

  3. Mel

Definitely going to Giant today! They’re really quick to post savings, too.

  4. Beth

Is saving star like upromise? What stores in Florida take saving star? Thanks

    • SavingStar (@SavingStar)

Hi Beth, SavingStar provides the grocery offers for Upromise, so most of the offers are the same. However, currently the Friday Freebies and the Healthy Offer of the Week are only available on SavingStar. In Florida, SavingStar works at Winn-Dixie, CVS, and Harvey’s. If you select the grocery offers on Upromise, you can also redeem them at Publix by getting a Upromise keytag at customer service in your local Publix store. (Publix does not currently participate on SavingStar). Thanks, Josh from SavingStar

I signed up 3 weeks ago and so far the free offers are for products not carried at my CVS. I’m not very hopeful on the yogurt, they didn’t carry the brown sugar or the tuna salad. Unfortunately CVS is the only store in my area. This would be awesome when paired with an actual grocery store! I’m glad others are benefiting!

Hi Kayla, We’re working hard to add more stores. We have more coming this summer. Stay tuned! -Josh

Has anyone done the bank acct option on pay outs and do you feel it is safe and secure? Thanks for any help!! I love this program as things add up very quickly.

    • SavingStar (@SavingStar)

Hi Loretta, For the bank account information, we encrypt your information and then delete your information right after you enter it on the site in order to make everything secure. Hope that makes you feel more comfortable using it. -Josh

JOSH@SAVINGSTAR: If a person uses cash instead of a bank account (and doesn’t use PayPal or Amazon), can they have their SavingStar payout sent to a relative’s bank account (does it just go by the acct. numbers, or would it get rejected due to the names not matching?)

        • SavingStar (@SavingStar)

RB – You can cash out to any bank account. Thanks, Josh

    • RB

(Yes, I did with my old bank– no problem, just like paying a Kohl’s charge with an electronic check, but in reverse.)

    Thank you collin and savingstar

  8. Janet

I like getting the freebies from Kroger and saving star but in order to get the $ in my acct I always have to contact saving star and have them credit me for my purchases. Idk if I want to keep dealing with the hassle of contacting saving start weekly. :/

    • SavingStar (@SavingStar)

Janet – Savings from Kroger should post automatically. There were a couple data issues we experienced that have now been fixed, so hopefully everything will work seemlessly for you. Also, Kroger purchases used to take up to 22 days to post. Now, Kroger purchases post within 8 days. -Josh

      • Janet

It’s been 10 days and I have not received credit for any of my purchases.

        • SavingStar (@SavingStar)

It sounds like you might have purchased during the period we had some data issues, so if you send us a message we’ll help you out. Going forward, everything should be all set. Thanks, Josh

          • Janet

Thank you. I’ve already sent an email and was told they only had info up to the 7th. I guess I’ll just have to wait and hopefully they’ll go through. Thanks again!

JOSH @SAVING STAR: Could you please pass along that sometimes it is confusing from the description and/or the picture exactly which varieties of products qualify? With these Friday-Sunday offers there isn’t time to wait to hear back from your customer service for clarification or it will be too late to redeem the offer, so they should be sure to fully describe eligible varieties in the first place– for instance after I bought the Hershey Reese’s white chocolate egg I noticed that the description specified milk chocolate, so I thought that my purchase would be disqualified unless I bothered to exchange it, yet the white chocolate egg ended up counting, too. For the Bush’s beans I had wondered whether the seasoned beans would be included and was hesitant to buy them, since they were not pictured. For the asparagus I didn’t really know what is meant by “loose” asparagus, since all the asparagus I have seen is pre-bunched and tagged. I guessed perhaps Saving Star was trying to differentiate the bunched packaged from the bagged. [Note: Having the PLU provided for some of the items, including the bananas, was helpful.]
