I have never been able to get one. This particular time, I tried for about two hours, and they kept telling me that it was an incorrect password. I had them send me a link to reset it, and then it told me that the link had been used or had already expired. I gave up on that, so I tried to set up a new account using my husband’s email address. Still, same thing.
I am fed up with this offer as well as with PINCHme. It is not worth the aggravation for a few dollars worth of stuff. This would have been a good item to put in my Samaritan’s Purse shoe boxes at Christmas for kids who don’t ever get anything.
Secret is to use a sister site like Huggies.com to update your username and password or use the forgot password option. Huggies.com wasnt being flooded so I was able to update my email/password and mailing info, then go back using the hot wheels link and sign in successfully. If you try to do any of that during an event like this you will never get it to work and it will take forever. So use a sister site in the future to make it an easy endeavor

Actually I did log in via Huggies, because I wanted to make sure I knew what my password was, without wasting time messing it up on the slow Scott’s site! 🙂

Hi Dawn – I’m sorry you were unable to get in on this deal this time, it stinks when they run out so quickly. I’ve been on that end of things many times. Hot Wheels is something my children love too and if I can get a little gift for a birthday or under the tree, I’m going to do my best to get in on the deal. The offer doesn’t exclude me, so I have a right to sign up too, even if I got a previous offer. I’ve learned a long time ago, you win some, you lose some. You guys have the patience of Job. I tried all morning and when it finally went through, it said I already had an account. By the time I got a new password and logged back in, they were all gone. Argh! (squared)
