They are on the bottom shelf at my store, with all the other Neutrogena face wash & lotion items.

Yes but sometimes CVS increases the limit on some deals. Check your receipt. It won’t say limit reached if you only did it once. It’s actually been reported as a limit of 6.

Sometimes cvs raises the limit. You just have to check your receipt and see of it says *limit reached* or not.

How the last one a $20 ECB? Because you get the $10 ECB back for buying three bars and the three free totes will generate a $10 ECB as well until CVS fixes it.

Hey I was able to get the 3 bars at $3.29 each and I used a $2 off any $8 body wash or bar soap CVS Q plus the 25% off mailer CVS Q it deducted another $1.80. I only paid 6.07 plus tax for three bars of soap and received the free bag and 10 ECBs!
Douglassville, Pa. I did this deal and it was wonderful. I got 3 of the bars for $3.39 each = total $10.17. I got $10.00 ECB and they didn’t have the totes, so they gave me another $10.00 ECB in place of its value. Loving CVS
Where is the tote? Do they have it behind the counter or do we find the tote and tell them to ring it up?
My store had the totes hanging up right next to the products. I might have to go back now!
Tote was hanging off corner of aisle in cosmetics nowhere near Neutrogena! I asked and an employee showed me. I didn’t have to tell the cashier, either the tote price came off automatically or she did it.
Check right when you walk in the store close to the coupon machine. If that is close to the front they had the totes hanging all over that area in my store.
One store had a big neutrogena display up front with the bags in it, another had them on a hang strip laying on the floor and another had them behind the counter. Bars are hard to find!

It’s not really shelf cleaners – thy just don’t stock many of these. Out of the 2 stores so far, they’ve had 2-4 bars.
Yup I checked two cvs they were all out of the bars so I just bought three other products my total was 23 bucks but I still think it’s a deal being I got 10 bucks back! So really only 13 bucks for those three products! I’m gonna go back and check again at another cvs see if they have the bars!

Hey Heather I am in Central Cali and I was able to get the bars at $3.29. If you can find them they are a really good deal. I did this deal two hours ago.
Very frustrated to go and find an empty shelf. I had asked cashier and she told they don’t stock too many of this products and that ECB wasn’t really meant for the bars. I am going to see about getting more ECB rainchecks.

The in store display said the bars were not included for the Tote. The ad did not exclude them for the $10 ECB. My store was out of the bars so I got a RC for the $10 ECB’s.
Both the stores I went to had signs up (hand written) saying that the bars were not included. I tried it anyway and told the cashier it didn’t say that on the ad…they would not do it though.

I always find the cvs stores near me mean compared to rite aid and walgreens.
It makes no sense at all that a CVS store would stop people from purchasing an item, even a deal like this. They are emptying shelf space and restocking product. Plus a lot of people are going to buy other items also. Don’t see the logic.
To make it even better the bars are $3.79 each, and no offers from the red machine. It wouldn’t actually be a free deal even if they had let me buy them.
I was holding the bars of soap. One sales rep was putting up the bags, and said right off the bat that the bars are not included. There was also a sign. To avoid the hassle, I didn’t bother. Good deal though for those who were able to get it.

Temecula couponers, the store on Temecula parkway only has the acne face bars instock. They did generate the ecb’s. However they do not have the tote. I got a raincheck for tomorrow. They said they would probably be on the truck in the morning.
There’s a big sign stating we cannot get the tote with the purchase of soap bars. I handed the tote for them to ring up. It deducts the tote. Got the $10 ecb.
First CVS I went, did not have the tote and also the sales person so rude in telling me soap bars not included as part of getting the tote.
Already gone at the Las Cruces, NM location. They didn’t even have the signs up! I felt weird asking for a rain check on Sunday so I’ll ask for one when I do my weekly shopping on Saturday. Hope they get some more bars before the 17th! I have a $10/$30 face care CVS coupon expiring that day. I plan on buying 3 bars and 1 Olay Pro-X face wash (use a $3 P&G coupon) and essentially pay $7 for all 4 items.

The cashier said she didn’t know what tote I was talking about (way to know what’s in your ad!!) so I showed her the ad. She said they never received the totes. So I asked if I could get a rain check and she said “not if we don’t have any. It says while supplies last.” We’ll right about then I wanted to punch her in the face! Then the manager showed me that they had the bags but said I couldn’t have one because of something to do with corporate blah blah blah. But then the snooty cashier said maybe we just need to scan the tag. And voila! Free tote! I wasn’t a happy customer because of their attitude and less happy when I saw my 25% didn’t work on some of the regular price items. Ok. I’m done ranting 🙂

I called her “snooty” because of her attitude when I asked if she had the totes and she said she hadn’t heard about that deal. I asked if I could get a rain check for the tote and that’s when she said “It says while supplies last so since we don’t have any, then you can’t get one.” And I said, “We’ll you never had any so that’s not really true.” And then she said,” We’ll if I didn’t just tell you we never got any then you would never know that.” I was smiling and talking in a light and joking manner but she was definitely being “snooty” to me. Yes I was appreciative that she scanned the bag and I got it free but that does not excuse her “snootiness” to me

I bet Monday corporate will stop the deal because bar soaps usually are excluded that’s why I’m getting what I can today because the totes are counting as a item also
I don’t think the corporate will exclude the bars because It is actually a part of the deal as stated in the ad as well as on myWeeklyAd (CVS.com). But I think they may fix the totes counting as items and producing ESB. So the bars will be free and you can get free totes when purchasing them but no MM. Also, they may limit the number of deal (ESB) that you can do as it was exactly said in the ad (the actual limit was 1 per household but I did it 3 times, plus the free totes so it was like 4 times). I think CVS really needs better ITs people. They have been so many glitches in the past that couponers took advantages of and went banana crazy (like myself LOL !!!)
While the ad might say limit 1, what makes it confusing is that this deal is actually a monthly deal (unadvertised) with a limit of 6. That is what the tag says at my store. Now, it will ultimately be up to corp if they want to pull the bars from the deal as well as the tote from counting towards the quantity.

I had a bad experience with this. I wanted to buy 3 bars and one face wash. First of all, the lady told me that their stores didn’t carry those totes and didn’t offer anything in return. I wanted to use a 25%off regular priced items but she said that wasn’t allowed because I couldn’t use those coupons when getting EB. What?! I’ve used those many times before and never had a problem!! Have any of you had this problem? Needless to say, I didn’t buy a thing!
Since this is a special promotion, unfortunately a % off coupon won’t apply. I used mine last night and thought the total was higher than I calculated. When I looked at my receipt the bars and tote were all grouped with other sale items (Tide, GM food deal). There is a space between the sale and non sale items, so my % only worked on the Revlon and Hefty items.
Worked at 5:45pm in Charleston,SC buying 3 bars of soap ($3.49 each grrr!) scanned the tote, and got the tote free, $10 ecbs, and my receipt says “quantity toward this award: 4. Quantity needed to earn reward: 2.” So it looks like all I need is 1 more bar of soap and scan the tote, pay $3.49 for the soap, get the tote free, and another $10 ecb?? Anyone?? Of course we all know they will be fixing this Monday. Lol!!
Nope it will charge you the tote bag so 13 something and 10 ecb.
I think in order for the tote’s price to come off, you have to purchase 3 bars in one transaction, so No the tote will not be automatically deducted if you only buy 1 more bar in your next transaction. And I think the tote is ringing up at 9.99 so it will be 9.99 + 3.49 for the bar so your total will be 13.48 and you will get back $10 ESB. Hope this help.

No–it will just give you another $10
What I mean is–you only need 2 more bars to get $10 more ECB. Don’t buy the tote, though, because without 3 items in one transaction, it will charge you full price. But you could get 2 bars at like $6.50 total and get 10 back.

My cvs Houston tx had only 4 bars soap but no tote bags. Manager substituting for a beach bag 9.99 got it even if I didn’t get it to track but. Cashier had to put it as .01 cent to be able to give it to me as register acts funny did get my 10 bucks and is still tracking
I told my friend about it and she went and did it in her neighbor hood.
She bought 3 soaps and tote and got $10 ecb

I just came back from my CVS in East Hampton, NY. Awesome MM for me cause I have $10 of $30 facial ance care. I bought 10 bars (my CVS only has the orange ones) @ 3.29/each and get 3 free totes. So my total was 32.9. Use the CVS coupon that takes off $10 and $22ESB, pay 0.9 OOP + tax and get back $40 so it was a $17.1 MM. The cashier was so happy when he sees the huge ESB printed. So yes, the totes are still counted as an item and produce ESB. This is the only time I love my CVS. There are not a lot of couponers around here so the shelf didn’t get wiped out and still fully stocked (there are still plenty left after I got mine). Must love it !!!
I went late this afternoon. My store only had 5 bars. I had read some of the other posts about the totes acting as a trigger for the ECB and took a chance. Got 5 bars and 1 tote- $20 ECB! Plus I used the 25 percent off coupon and a $3 off $12 facial cleanser coupon I loaded onto my card from the website! So happy!

Got 1 tote and 3 free bars…3.19 at this particular store and I had a coupon for $2 off any bar soap plus had 3 w&w coupons got 4 free items with b2g1 free and 4 ecb. Paid 4.70 oop got 10 ecb. Cashier pulled the totes after myself and another couponer showed interest. We had already gotten our totes but I think they were pulled to keep the limit to 1.
The deal is still working in Ohio.Went to 4 stores,only one store had the bars of soap.The other 3 gave me raincheck slips for the deal,and said that they would honor it even after the weekly sale ends.The bars were 3.39 at one store and 3.39 at the others.

The CVS at E Main and Hamilton had bars in stock and bags at 2 PM today. They only received 6 bags and were limiting to one set only. They are keeping the bags behind the counter so you have to ask.
The bars will count even though the posted sign says that they do not. May be a data error. Just got my deal 5 mins ago.

It doesn’t have to be $10. You just have to buy 3 neutrogena items. The soap is just the cheapest. I had cvs coupons for soap and only paid around $7 and still got $10 ecb. Hope this helps.
Even if this deal is still working, I’m pretty sure my store won’t have them. When there’s a high limit on things like this, there seems to be someone who decides to clear the shelf. I’d love to get the free soap- it’s really good on my sensitive, dry skin.

Still working here in OH, no totes to be found but I got 6 bars. And yes I have sensitive skin so they will be put to good use! Like others have stated, this may be a monthly deal so at least make sure to get a raincheck for those of you who are lucking out. Hopefully your stores will stock up, even if they fix the limit, with a rain check, you can at least get 3 free bars of soap. My store said they were already ordering more.
Hi Collin, shared this w/my daughter earlier…just wanted to let you know she scored the 3 bars w/free tote bag and the $10 ECB generated here in Atlanta (early evening).
Though there were more bars of soap on the shelf, and plenty of bags hanging, we don’t feel right about grabbing multiples to ring up for more ECB’s considering they’re a gift/promotion and may have not been intended to be used for such.
Besides, it’s much more fun to leave some for other couponers who make it out later in the shopping week.

My cvs didn’t have the totes, the cashier they bring only 10 bags for the offer, and they were already gone, I buy 3 bar soap a 3.59 and and he give me the 10 ecb and 10 extra more ecb because they don’t have the tote, I prefer the ecbs than the tote.

So, I called 1-800 SHOP-CVS and they said (after holding for about 1/2 hour) that only the items in the picture of the ads are to be included in the weekly sales??? (so what about the wording… personal cleansing.. I call that soap.) So, anyway, It sounds like you guys are getting x-tra bucks for the soap, I just am tired of “trying” the sale, only to have to return the product if I DON’T get the extra bucks. I stopped at my fave store this afternoon, to see if they restocked (truck comes on Tues). Ran into my fav cashier, who is now a manager! Yeah for her, so is AWESOME! Anywho, we were chatting b/c she wanted to know what the big deal was about the soap and I told her 3 @ $3.19 = $9.57 and you get the free tote + $10 back. Then I told her that one grocery board has pictures of a typed up sign saying the Bar Soaps are excluded from the deal per corporate. She said she has NOT gotten such an email, and if it was a mass email from corp, she would have received it. So it seems like some stores are taking it upon themselves to stop people from buying the soaps. But, as of my purchase around 5pm, I DID receive the ECB for buying 3 soaps.
If you go to myweeklyad @ cvs.com and find the Neutrogena deal, and click on Details, it will list ALL the included items. As of 9pm CST, both Bar Soaps are STILL showing as being included in the deal –

So, *IF* corp did not want the soaps included anymore, they could very easily pull the item from the online weekly ad AND stop it from counting towards the deal. That is what they did with the tote. It is no longer counting as an item towards the reward, AND you can only buy in quantities of 3, if you buy 6 bars or 6 items, you no longer get a $20 ECB.
Have now visited 5 stores – no soap, no totes. Hopefully something will turn up tomorrow.
