Just bought 4 sets…great little Christmas gifts.
I still have not had good luck baking with silicone. Anybody share what I am missing?
They don’t seem to work on muffins because they stick. I got rid of mine.
I bought these and cupcakes stick horribly 🙁 however the ones at Walmart are awesome!!
I personally dont like silicone. They smell horrible when I bake with them.
It seems that the food doesn’t get done inside and it always sticks.
Good deal. Love these things. Thanks!!!!
I bought a set to use with my wax warmer rather than buying the throw away muffin tins.
These are great to use in kids’ lunch packs to hold grapes, crackers etc separately!
I hate these for cupcakes but they are awesome for condiments and also for making crayons.
3.38 now not bad had credit so free
I bought these exact ones and after 1 use, washed them by hand and I guess I put them together when they were still damp. I went to take them apart the next time I needed them and they tore up and had to be thrown away. The wilton ones didn’t do that.
BEWARE! These are sent directly from China and are not regulated. If you plan to use them with food prep- you might ingest unwanted chemicals. 🙁
***Highly unregulated imported item.
But I am sure as a dish for melting crayons these are a great idea!
They sure are cute though! 🙂 Sorry for the bad news. I just worry about what we al ingest with our food prep. It’s scary!!
I love ur blog though Collin!! It is my absolute favorite 🙂
I agree with you Jenny. It’s too risky to use with food.
I have some that look like this. We use them for muffins and don’t have a problem with sticking. Sure makes clean up easier. We still use the muffin tin when we bake. I have others that are flower shaped, so don’t have the small ridges. They feel like better quality, but we get more sticking with them than with the ridged ones. I know one of my ridged sets is Betty Crocker brand. Not sure of the other.
But, I would be hesitant with them coming from China and using them for anything heated.
I haven’t had success with these. I am
Ready to
Toss
We got some of these and we have used them for color recognition activities with our toddler. Just an idea!
