we have 2 of these and love them…. 1 in the blue and 2 in the green. I must say that it’s not the most boy friendly potty but it’s better than the others be have tried.

First time mom here – I have a 10months old baby boy (I know it’s too soon to start potty train) but I’ve been thinking about how to begin the process, any expert moms with some expert advise I would appreciate it =) how old should I start? And how do I start with potty train? Or any tips in general, Tia!

Just finished training my second boy and highly recommend “Toilet Training in Less Than a Day” by Azrin and Fox. Of course we are still in the learning curve but day 7 (today) and he told me while we were at the mall he had to go potty!

“Early and often.” Put them in pullups not long after walking, then start with occasional trips to sit on potty, then at 2 you can request that they hold it and not go in the pullup. Take them to the potty ALOT. By 2 1/2 you can practice undies sometimes. Should be finished by 3! But every kid is different so ymmv.

Best advice i ever got was no pull ups (except night and nap at 1st). I started my kids about 18 months or so sitting on the potty when i was going to change their diaper just to get them used to it. About 25 months i took away the diapers and put on underwear following the “how to potty train your child in a day” off Pintrest..took 3 days and done. With the plan 1 on 1 FULL attention on the child is a MUST. Forget nutrition that day eat foods that make you thirsty and drink whatever (my daughter drank 6 capri suns that day I think). Potty every 15 min. At least until you can pick up on cues. The 1st morning was hard, but after nap that day we hit a stride. There will be accidents, but thats part of like.

From my experience potty training 3 (two boys and a girl) Don’t stress about it. When they are ready, they potty train themselves. I wouldn’t buy pull ups until they are actively trying to use the potty, too expensive, and a pain when they go potty in them. Save yourself a headache and don’t try to force it, just show them, talk to them often about it, and then wait for them to decide they are ready…they will figure it out….i promise.

I have a friend who strips her kids naked and in 2 days they’re trained! Of course, she has no carpet in her house. We cloth diaper and have had all of them trained by 18 months. They don’t like the wet feeling and figure it out quick- as soon as they are mobile enough to the potty. Have you seen the trend where newborns are potty trained! A lot of work but pretty cool!

I have never thought that Pull Ups were a pain when they go in them. It actually seems easier to change than a diaper, with them standing up.

Thanks everyone! I will take notes =)

Thanks i bought this one instead. Much cheaper and the reviews say it is pretty much the exact same. Going to potty train my 2 year old son in the next few weeks!

We used one of these and while my daughter did like it, her daycare taught her to use the regular potty right off the bat so we didn’t end up using this hardly at all. Should have saved my money!

Have it. Love it. No weird creases that are hard to clean. Very straightfoward. Great for boys!

I agree with ihearthip, easy to clean. We have two- threw away her others!

Best potty ever!!! Our boys are big/tall for their age and this was the only potty that was big enough for them. We went on a long road trip and used it with potty liners (avail at drugstore. com).

Love it for my 3yr old son. Its his favorite and easy to clean

Best potty ever! Went thru 2 others before finding these. Have 2 – one for upstairs & one for downstairs
