The FPR8 filters are good for 90 days. I only paid $4.59 for each filter! Thanks Collin!

Thanks Collin! I didn’t even know Home Depot had daily deals but was glad to see this one. Just did a kitchen remodel so lots of dust flying in the house!

      You’re welcome! 🙂

Neither did I. This is great to know because I will be doing a reno in the near future.

Thanks! Last time this deal ran it wasn’t offered for our filter size so glad to see 20x30x1 available this time. https://www.homedepot.com/p/NaturalAire-20-in-x-30-in-x-1-in-Standard-Pleated-Air-Filter-Case-of-12-87355-012030/203225806?quantity=1

We have pets and change our filter about every 2-3 months, so this pack of 12 will last us at least 2 years!

After tax, I paid $22.73 for 12 filters — that’s $1.89 per filter! Sure beats paying $12.99 per at WalMart!

    • nicolegammeter

      Awesome! 🙂

    • jessica

Definitely! We used to pay $8-$17 per filter at walmart, the $8 were usually sold out in our size so we would often be stuck buying the more expensive ones, last time collin posted this deal I bought a box to try them out they seem to work great, I think it was $17 for 12 filters with free shipping!

Is the grade 8 worth the extra money over the 4? We usually buy the cheapest packs at Walmart (the green ones), so I wanted to see if it is worth the extra money. Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing. Here is one person’s opinion that I saw on Slickdeals: “I bought these filters the last time they were on sale and the quality was completely fine. Stick with the FPR 4 ratings unless you have serious allergies so you don’t overburden your unit. If you have allergies and use your AC alot, just change them more often.” I ended up getting the FPR 4. I like the lower price anyhow! 🙂

    • Kenia

      I want to know too.

    • Wren

I have heard second-hand that it’s better to use the cheaper filters but replace them more often. They allow air to flow through your system easier.

      • Angela

We just had our AC replaced and the technicians informed us to use cheap filters as well for the same reason.

    • johnstelmack

HVAC tech is correct. (I am one too) The frequency of the need to change filters varies depending upon the individual household. A household with hardwood floors, 4 kids, dogs and cats will need to change the filters more often, every 3 weeks or so, vs. a household that has one kid and fish.

Also, there is on that has a 3 pack, and it says case of 12. Does that mean 36 total? Or does it mean 4 3 packs?

    • Kenia

      It means 4 packs of 3 each = 12.

    Thank you!!!!!! 🙂

I ordered the last time Collin had this and bought the 14x30x1, I still need the 14x14x1 but cannot find it in the grade 4. That grade is fine unless you have serious dust or allergens in the house. My husband changes ours once a year for the central A.C, we do not have forced hot air system which you may change more frequently.

I just told my hubby about this deal and the one we usually get is the 3M Filtrete 1900 6PK from Lowes for $120 ($20 each). Im going to order these, if they work just as well we’re saving close to $200 since its a 12PK OH MY!! Thanks Collin!
