How unlimited is unlimited? I remember the Kindle Lending Library touted as unlimited for Prime users, but it turns out you can only borrow one book per month.
I started my trial membership this morning and loaded 10 books on my Kindle with no problem. 🙂
Found this on the FAQ: keep 10 books at a time https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201550610
I’m still not entirely convinced
I did the free trial, so far I’ve gotten 3 sent to my kindle with no restrictions.
I’m wondering if it includes new releases. That’s what I’d be more interested in.
You can search available titles on the amazon website. It doesn’t look as though some of the new releases that caught my eye at the bookstore are available. That said, there still appears to be a pretty great selection.
try your local library… my state offers e loans. you may have to wait but no cost.
Love my library!
Yes I always use my library’s e-book website! Love it!!
Yes! I get most of my ebooks for free from my library. Likewise my movies and music. Best Deal Ever!
I think we’ll find that it will be the lower priced books and not too many bestsellers. It will fill that niche just above the “free kindle books” and well below the hot sellers.
Lots of good stuff on there! I am a book junkie and only recently started reading them on Kindle and iPad. I refuse to pay more than $1.99 for an ebook, so this might be worth it. I also utilize my library. Everyone should!
Well I searched several of my favorite authors and nothing came up, so not worth $9.99 to me. It looks like a lot of the books listed as “popular titles” are ones that are often part of Daily Deals.
Does anyone know if after I cancel the subscription, will the ebooks I downloaded be deleted or
“When your membership is cancelled, the titles you have selected from the program will be removed from your account, devices and applications.”

You can load of on a ton of books then shut off your Wi-Fi on your kindle. By doing these the books will not disappear until you turn the Wi-fi back on.
I just think $10/mo is too high. I’m already getting free books from my library plus my 1 freebie a month for Prime. I’m not entirely sure I’d read enough more every month to make the $10 worthwhile. I guess I should try the free month and test it out 🙂
I’m going to try this for my 16 year old. she can read 2 novels a day and often does. I am tired of spending 100 dollars buying her a set of books and having her read them in 2 days!!! we have over 4,000 physical books….time to use the kindles we aren’t that fond of (no smell, no page turning, no notes, dog ears, creases (character)
Pluses to using a kindle….highlight passages, add notes, then instead of flipping through to find them, it keeps them in a list. 🙂
Hey everyone,
I self-published two children’s picture books on Amazon (stories I wrote for my son) and they are included with the Kindle Unlimited program if anyone is interested! =)
They are both fully-illustrated rhyming picture books, recommended for ages 2-6 years old.

Sign up for BookBub guys.. I get about 3 to 4 free kindle downloads per day. It’s a daily subscription that sends you a list of about 12 or so books.. some cost but several are free. I download them to the ‘ kindle cloud reader’. Then I browse it when I am looking for a new novel to read and just move it from the cloud to my kindle device. But you can just download directly to your device if you like. I have probably 200 books by now on my kindle here is the link if it is allowed..

you can unsubscribe at any time. It’s not a spam mail type thing. I get (1) BookBub in my email daily to look at what is offered for free. I have not bought a book yet via Amazon and my kindle since I received it last Christmas. All FREE! Hope this helps JOY!
I would like to know about the ‘Kindle Unlimited Program’. How does that all work and how do I get in contact with those at Amazon?
