I got one at my store, but the coupon wouldn’t scan. The cashier said I couldn’t use the coupon because then the item would be free! 🙂 I asked to talk to a manager and he fixed it but then wrote a sign for the store so it couldn’t be used anymore! It’s not our fault -they put out the coupon….
Dead deal
I checked the Website to see if there were available at any of the stores by me. There was one store that said it was in stock. I went there and they didn’t have any. It was a very small shelf display that would have held probably no more than a dozen of both kinds. Glad I was already going to be in that area for other things. Oh well, didn’t get this deal but it’s not the end of the world. I just never get to try anything really nice and I was looking forward to this one. Maybe next time!
I purchased 2 of these (small size, $5) on Sunday, and the coupon worked fine; I just had to pay tax. When I returned to the same location the next day to purchase 2 more, the coupon beeped and wouldn’t subtract the $5 per item. The cashier remembered me from the day before and called the manager over, saying the coupon had worked fine on Sunday, and further pointing out to him that there was a sign posted by the item showing the $5 price – $5 coupon = free. (Yes, she was AWESOME!) He manually adjusted them for me so I got them for free, but something must’ve changed from corporate down from Sunday to Monday!

Which ddoesn’t matter anywaus because most stores were wiped out. Lots of shelf clearers!
Went to three walgreens till’ one of them actually had the h2O brand. The shelfs was cleared by someone else according to the walgreens manager. He said they made a mistake and weren’t supposed to be on sale. The price tag was ripped off too and I bet they still had more in stock. But someone had to clear the shelf in the madison, wi university ave location -.-
Tried it too, coupon didnt work. The cashier said it was only for the bigger size products. They must have modified their system.
I got two today. I caused an employee commotion though. I told them forget it if theyd get in trouble but I showed them the tag. They gave me the last two and ripped the tag off. On the other hand I really needed Thermacare heat packs and they have a bonus of 3 in a pack instead of two and they are on sale for $5.99 with a $1.00 off Wags store coupon in the August book.
I tried to use this also and they acted like I was trying to commit a crime although the store sign was exactly as in your picture stating you could use the coupon on trial size. The manager came over and then proceeded to analyze all of my Tide coupons as well although none of those beeped. I finally said just take the cream back, I dont need it that bad!
i went on sunday night and there were 4 in the shelf and i only grab 2. i did not have any problem with the h2O cream checking out but my $10rr did not go through at first and i ask the cashier why and she answer sarcastically screaming(“I dont know!). i did not give up so she enter manually. What is the deal with this kind of walgreens associates? they make you feel like you are committing a crime for saving so much. alton il.
