I got some this morning! Figured they make awesome little gifts for a gift basket!

  2. megan

ok I haven’t shopped at wags in a while….can you get more than one in a transaction? if so is there a limit? and can you only buy so many per card/account?

    • Liz OB

Just did the deal. I bought a combination of 5. Walgreens coupon took all subtotal off in one transaction, but I ended up having to pay $2.06 in tax!! They are small so I don’t know that it is worth it with all the full size lotions that we get for free or cheaper than this.

  3. Jacqueline

Lydia wrote she got some. I’m wondering the same thing….?

  4. MsAnnie

Thank You, I am going tomorrow.

  5. Conswalla

Even when items are free, I won’t step in WAGS. I just hope people aren’t greedy and leave some for other people.

    • Tiffany W

Me too. I hate that store. Everything about their whole system

  6. Amanda

These travel sizes toiletries are great for donations! Consider donating if you don’t plan to use these!

    • Kelly

For real? Donations make me lol. Thx for leaving empty shelves!

      • Amanda

Yes, coupons blesses me with a good amount of toiletries. If I have extra or there are free travel size items. I donate them. Travel sizes are good for shipping to the troops overseas or for homeless shelter that might get someone in off the street for one night. I am sorry if that makes you “lol” i will pray for you tonight.

        • Rebecca

Amanda, know that all of your donations are very appreciated. As a military wife whose husband is currently deployed, I know there are so many men & women who go their entire deployment with no letters or care packages, or really any support at all, from home. To get a package or even a letter from a stranger, to know there are people who care, can raise their morale so much.

      • Rebecca

She didn’t say she was clearing the shelves.

      • meg

Oh my goodness! Did she say anything about clearing shelves???? Donating makes you lol??? Very sad.

    • Lea

Ummm. yeah the donating gets on my nerves sometimes too. How bout the people that want it for themselves. hey, donate it to me. LOL. not to downplay the goodheartedness of donating, but it is frustrating when people have bought all they could to donate and then when I make it into the store for gifts to people I KNOW personally or something for family. not neccessarily this item, but in the couponing world in general. in others, Kelly, I get it. LOL 🙂

  7. Laura

    I got got back
The coupon states one per person

So I’m wondering if I can go back tomorrow and get another

  8. brandice

U can get,as many as u want all in the same day just have to do multiple.tx

    • Denise

      multiple trips or multiple transactions??

  9. Guest1

where are these located in the store?

  10. Kristen

Random question but is there a limit on how many balance rewards you can score from a deal?

    • Laura

      You don’t get any rewards

      • Laura

Sorry I may have misunderstood you. You don’t receive any on this lotion because it’s free.
If you were talking about something else, well that’s a good question how many rewards you can score in one transaction

        • Kristen

Yeah I meant on something else- specifically the glucose meters this week

          • Bax

Unlike register rewards, there are no limits on points! You can buy any amount of the same item that gives points and you will get all of the points transferred to your card!

            • Kristen

Do you have to break up the transactions? Or can it be done all at once

          • Tiffany Miller Farhner

what’s the glucose meter sale this week??

  11. MsAnnie

Great for adding to basket’s I am saving to give to the senior’s from our church.

  12. Guest1

Are these in the lotion or bath soap aisle?

    • Laura

They are located by the purell in my store. But heads up everyone – I went to 2 stores and got the last one at the second store. They are going fast

  13. Thelma

$5 for 2 ounces of soap? How stupid do they think their customers are?

    • CW

H2O is very high-end. They give it in the staterooms on Disney Cruise Line and in the Disney resort hotel rooms. One bottle of shampoo or conditioner (normal size) is $16-20 without shipping fees. If you look at their website (H20) you’ll see how expensive their full size products are. $5 for trial size in this is about right.

      • Monica

I love their products. Years ago they had a store at the Cherry Hill, NJ mall. Now I usually get their stuff at TJ Maxx when I am lucky. Kohl’s also sells this sized item for $5. Their products are really nice. It is not “soap”.

      • cjs

I just saw Collin’s post…and I’m sure most of the stores around here are out of stock by now 🙁 I love their products…I purchased their ‘Editor’s Favorites Beauty Box’ from their website. Great sampler pack with generous-sized items.

    • Laura

I just got my free sample of lotion. It is VERY nice. Not your low end budget sample by all means

    • Amy

These are upscale products. I would put them in a category similar to Basin or Crabtree and Evelyn. They smell great!

  14. Whitney

They didn’t have them the walgreens in chesterfield valley.

  15. Susan

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Hip2Savers…let’s all be courteous and kind and only get ONE deal on this. I’m sure many people will bring their little kids, husbands, cousins, etc. or try to get several over multiple trips. Let’s not be greedy. Even if you plan to donate them. Let’s see how many DIFFERENT people can get these. It’s the right thing to do. 🙂

    • Alicia Holman

I totally agree with you Susan!

      • steph

That is exactly why I never try to make a special trip for deals like these. People have already commented on getting 5 and others doing multiples. Sorry, but most people are going to be greedy and get more than just one.

    • Erin

I feel ya! But once something is posted on here and is free and easy, it is already too late.

  16. Elle

Where do you get the booklet, our Wags still has the July booklet. 🙁

    • Pam

It’s at the entrance by the weekly ads but you can also send the coupon to your card through their website or app… 😉

    • mary g.

Ours had the July ones out, too. I asked the manager when the August one would be out and he was like OH SHOOT! I FORGOT TO SET THEM OUT! He grabbed the box from under a register and set them out right away. I heard on the cashiers say that the July coupons weren’t working and he said that those are done and to start using August.

  17. Pam

they do get you on the tax. You would think since it’s a store coupon, there would be no tax—wrong!

  18. Laura

    Thanks! Got it

  19. The New Mrs. Rowe

My Hubby rushed up there at 6 and got one for me! Thanks, Collin!

  20. blossom

The manager in Lawrenceville GA said that the entire district does not carry this product. 🙁

    • Leslie

Hey, I live in Lawrenceville, GA 🙂 Thanks for saving me a trip!

      • Sheela

No problem! Ii wonder if buckhead/downtown Atlanta would be a different district? I know none of the stores around here carry Almay products, but the Walgreens in Marrietta GA do!

  21. Alicia Holman

Our store doesn’t usually have the August book out yet? Do most places already have theirs out already?

    • Pam

You can also send the q to your card on their site or app 😉

  22. trin

My store in Gresham, Oregon doesn’t carry this brand :(! On another note there was a $3.00 off man. coupon on Revlon in Sundays insert and the gel nail polish was B1G1 1/2 off (8.00 each) 12.00 after the sale price and then 2/3.00 man. coupons=6.00 & then there was a 3.00 off 2 in Walgreens August book=1.50 each :)!!

    • Mia

thanks for info 🙂 I’m going to get some. Hi from Vancouver Wa 🙂

      • Kamaya

Nice to see someone from Vancouver!

    • Kamaya

      Thanks!

  23. Crystal

None left at my wags. 😞

  24. Leah

I went to my walgreens in Neenah and somebody took all of them! Greedy

    • Shawny

maybe not greedy, the store I work at only carries 2 of each variety of the H2O, but it is awesome stuff

    • Shae

Let’s not assume that ONE person took them all. The deal has been going on since last night. Multiple people have probably taken advantage of it by now. Don’t worry, though, you’ll have until August to get in on the deal. 🙂

      • Leah

A worker said that somebody came a wipes it out!

      • Erin

No, you won’t have til August. Wags killed the deal. Or maybe it was the greedy folks clearing the shelves, drawing attention to the deal? 😉

  25. Khadijah

My wags doesn’t have the August books yet how about anyone else

    • Shawny

you should be able to clip on walgreens coupon on the website

    • Pam

You can send the q to your card from their site or app…

  26. Susie

I LOVE this line. We’ve stayed at a high-end boutique hotel in Chicago (using Priceline, of course:) ) that stocks it. I just used the very end of my teeny-tiny bottle last night and was lamenting it’s emptiness. SO happy to get a bottle of this tonight!

  27. pauline

    none at my wags

  28. crystal

I’m all for donating, and you can get a few extra to donate without bothering me. I donate. However, has it occurred to those that shelf clear and donate that the REST of us who miss out are couponing to make ends meet? Just because a store allows one to take everything doesn’t make it right. No, missing one deal won’t break a couponer, but if you’re willing to shelf clear once, you probably do it plenty. When you coupon in the same area as a shelf clearer, you know it because all the best deals are never available. If you want a crap ton, consider asking them to order a certain amount for you.

    • Rebecca

If you’re referring to the posts below where she suggested people donate if they won’t use them, again let me point out that she never said she clears the shelves. There are so many freebies at so many stores, it’s very easy to amass a large stockpile to donate without ever clearing the shelves.

    • Lynn

All out at my Walgreens, i’m so sad, wasted gas checking two of the stores, then had the manager call the other two.

  29. Conswalla

On a Facebook couponing site that I’m a member , someone got 16 bottles clearing the shelf. When others on the site pounced on her for doing it, she said there was a sign next to the product saying the limit is 20 per customer so she feels she did nothing wrong. She said she gave the coupon to the salesperson and ended up paying on $4.06 for the tax. Wow!

    • RA Cashier

Well I guess if it says there was a limit of twenty then I wouldn’t feel bad either. I would assume the store had a substantial supply if there was a limit of 20

    • Susan

Even if 20 was the limit, I personally wouldn’t take that many. It’s about doing what’s right and we all know that if a few people took 20, there would be many many others who wouldn’t even get one. It’s free. Why do we need to take advantage of that? In fact, why not tell someone else in the store about the same deal so they can get one if there are more?

      • steph

Exactly. It doesn’t matter what the product is but if people can get it for free or even pennies most don’t use discretion. On another blog I follow she posted recently about buying a crazy number of candy bars paired with coupons and then posted a scenario about how if you used like 30something coupons you could get sixty something bars for pennies each plus a gascard. That is what gives “couponers” a bad name and isn’t fair for the average person who might want to use one or two coupons for a product, get a good deal and go on their merry way. Sorry for the extended post but this just really irks me. And thank you Collin for not posting deals like that.

        • Erin

Yup. And they’ll waste ridiculous amounts of time and gas driving around trying to “score.” With the tax so high, it might dissuade some people. It’s hard to believe there is a limit of twenty at Wags. I don’t think they have room on the shelves for multiples of twenty.

    • JA

I’m just stunned the her Walgreens had 16 or 20 of anything! Mine never have enough stock.

    • Md

This is why we can’t have nice things.

  30. Lynn

in the past the manager at Walgreens would set item aside when next shipment came in(Thursday). New manager says he can’t do that.

  31. Belle01

I never find anything in my store when something is on sale. Every time that my Walgreens offers something for free the staff hide the items! The time when the ban was for free with the $2 coupon they didn’t have any I asked an employee she said she will look and I followed her to the register area (she didn’t realized that I was behind her) and I saw a full box behind the register. After that it happened again with the tide (the yellow one) sale when I went to the store they had none, I asked an employee and she said “if it’s not there we don’t have it” after she left I went to ask another employee and he brought from the stock room a full box. I just needed two so he put the rest of the box back in the stock room instead of putting the rest on the shelf for other customers 🙁

    • Erin

That is an interesting way to run a store! 😉

      • Kim

Wow, and my thinking is then when they don’t sell it, next place you see it it’ll be Clearance??? I was told by a clerk if they don’t have shelf room they’ll clearance it out…. I found 2 large bottles of Olay body wash that way…. I was like woow that’s interesting…..but cool and I had coupons too

  32. lourdes

How can u get more than one if it says one per customer per day?

  33. meg

Maybe everyone should stop complaining and also stop assuming that when there is none left on the shelf that one person took it all! Life is short. It’s just a small bottle of lotion for petes sake. All the problems in the world and this is what gets people upset.

    • Kristen

Exactly. Hip2save used to have the nicest people but now it seems people are ALWAYS arguing over EVERY LITTLE THING!!

    • Kim

Right like I just posted below…there were only 2 of each kind on the shelf from what I seen, and I just got 1 of each to try, now I hear they are removing or not even posting the signage, mine said ” I’m NEW”

  34. Mell

I know this is random but I have some of the $6 cable bill credits if anyone wants to trade for them…let me know!

    • Susan

Hi Mell, what kind of trades are you looking for?

      • Mell

Really anything, I’ll consider any offers

        • Susan

Mell, email me at Bootssie@aol.com. Maybe we can help each other. I have tons of coupons I never use and others I use every single time I get them. Let me know what interests you have…pet supplies, baby stuff, cleaning, OTC medicine, etc? I’d be happy to put together a customized envelope for you. 🙂

  35. Kaylene

    Gone at my local store

  36. Edy

There is no lotions at my walgreens in houston tx but, found some nice clearance metal containers coke design on them for 6.49 ! Nice for my Christmas gifts ! The tide it had a sign limit 4 bottles per customer plenty there ! I didn’t buy any nice to find school supplies thanks for all the deals posted

  37. Leslie

There used to be an H2O plus at the Galleria in Dallas. I remember buying their perfume, Mariel, on what I made working minimum wage. I was 17, I guess? I’ve always kept an eye out for their products so when I stayed for a week at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa in Scottsdale AZ, I stocked up. I had the maid put new ones in and requested more. I was traveling for work a lot and used all of my sample bottles. It was great and I smelled amazing too! I hope my WAGS has these!

  38. manager

I for one would not allow anyone to buy more than one PERIOD. One means one per household per day. That way it is fair for everyone. I think donating is great however when you are buying multiples on the same day and on the first day of the sale I think it is very wrong. Why not donate to your fellow shoppers and take just one and let others also get one. Just because it is free, it doesn’t give anyone the right to buy as many as they want and leave non for anyone else. Feel free to pray for me. Just remember GREED is a sin.

    • Kim

We’ll I got one of each to try, but there was only 2 of each on the shelf anyway. Is that why they only put so much out at a time????

    • Amanda

just because you are donating the item, does not mean you are clearing the shelf! Wow why do you assume the worst in people. When I posted “if you don’t use this product, you can consider donating it” in no way justifies “clearing the shelf” I didn’t say grab 20 and donate it…I WILL pray for you because you are obviously the greedy person her. That you would rather have a 1oz bottle of lotion than to help a person who really needs it and it not just greedy like you. smh

      • manager

Sorry but I am one of the managers who have been 5rained the correct way and only allow the customer the allotted amount so that others would be able to get to try the item. I used the word YOU in an example, I did not in any way indicate it was YOU personally Geez… get a grip. And I wouldnt rather keep a 1oz bottle instead of donating. I donate all the time but I purchase my items fairly. I buy I one a day if they are free and then on the last day of there is lots I will buy more. I stick to the rules that I enforce. Its a mute point now as corporate killed that deal. As well as the .49 cent huggies wipes deal. People took advantage of both deals, which alerted cashiers and managers so Walgreens investigated the error and has now rectified the issue. My intentions for my posts were not to put a certain individual on blast. I was simply stating that certain groups of people who think its ok to clear shelves to increase their stockpiles. To me when someone has more product than what a store even has on their shelves it is no longer a stockpile its a hoard.

  39. Patty Russell (@mtmkjr)

I think for some folks, “donating” is just a code word for reselling…

  40. Krystle

Wow I’m not going to take either side (shelf clearing vs 1 per person). I personally get upset with the stores themselves. They should have plenty of stock on all items sold at their stores. If they run out in the first week of the sale they should have plenty of time to restock especially if the sale last for a month! Target played this dirty trick with the Tide Oxi deal 2 weeks ago. Let’s not forget this is the purpose of retail stores, they sell stuff, we buy it, and the world keeps going round! No need to threaten with firey damnation.

    • Kim

Agreed, I too believe stores play these games… Lol still trying to figure it out
I just get what I can when it’s available
And just check other stores to find until I just get tired… Lol I gave up on the tide, but a few managers gave apology coupons

    • Patricia

Target wasn’t at fault for the Tide Oxi out-of-stock problem; it was a manufacturing/distributing issue at Tide. Unfortunately, it happened during a laundry deal at Target. I don’t think it should have been included in the deal because it has been hard to find anywhere. This happens when a new, hot product hits the market and the manufacturer issues high-value coupons. The hype ensures that the new product will meet expectations in sales for the manufacturer. This has been happening for years. Please don’t blame your local store.

  41. Carolina

I have a question in new to the rewards point but earned some thru prescriptions medicine. I have 4,500. Now online it says I have to have 5,000 to redeem but on the link to walgreens new update it says 1,000 is the minimum. Just wondering if I will be able to use it on my next transaction or not. Thank you. I’m in texas if that is important in any way.

    • Kim

Yes, I was told they changed the increments you can use any dollar amount, that you have earned someone correct me if I’m wrong, I did inquire about this because one clerk told me I could only use a certain amount and not all of the points….hath

      • Kim

        Sorry…. Hope that helps

        • Carolina

          Thanks you!

      • manager

Yes you can redeem in $1 increments. Just remember that if you redeem in a transaction that would give you points you wont get them. It is also the case when you pay using store credit.

  42. Felicia

Atlanta: Thanks for the post! There for only four (4) on the shelf, looks like there were more…glad to know someone was considerate of others and didn’t clear the shelf.

Side note, the coupon wouldn’t go through…had to call a manager over to override. Happiness findings!

  43. kim

The coupon would not go through and they would not accept it at my local Walgreen.

  44. Kayla

My Walgreens had a sign saying: We apologize – in the IVC book we are advertising $5 off H2O+ luxury bath and body care. The travel sizes are not included in this offer. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Is there anything I can do?
    Thanks!

    • manager

Nope.as stated it was an error.

  45. ann

Have a nice day everyone tomorrow is a new day all.

  46. Sophie

seems coupon isn’t going through anymore for trial size.

    • Laura

Yes they may have changed it in their system, but the manager at my Walgreens pushed it through 🙂

  47. Bargain Boutique Deals

It beeped at my Walgreens. The cashier shrugged and pushed it through 🙂 But I won’t try again, hate beeping coupons!

  48. justme

I was treated like a criminal over it. It didn’t say a size limit and they were really rude. They pushed it thru but treated me like I was stealing. This is why I prefer Target and Rite Aide any day over Walgreens.

    • Laura

That’s funny – because at times I feel like this at target. I guess it just depends on the cashier

  49. Cathy

I went to two Walgreens one store had some . I grab one of each kind. Coupon did not go through . Mgr had to give an over ride and then she pulled the tag after me.

  50. vanessa

Went to my local walgreens here on long island…the register beeper when the cashier scanned the coupon. Not sure why though there are no size restrictions

    • manager

They have pulled that item from the sale. It was a printing error as well as all the items are linked so it automatically included the 1oz size.
